Ok, let me say I love this thing, so why did I take away a star, the instructions. The instructions are terrible. I googled what I needed and then connected the wires. First time backwards so the remote worked in reverse but it worked. Switched two wires and we are golden. You get everything you need but if you want better you can put some female slip on crimps and a ring crimp for the power line. Once connected there is not much else. The small and large remote come with batteries. I don’t know how long they will last because they did not have a connection plug to keep them from draining. Little things but if they had just paid attention to the little things this would be great. The key chain remote is just in and out. It works great for a little key chain remote. The big remote has an on, in, out and off button. They never explain the difference between the two remotes but I assume it is the range. They list this for a front winch only but I guess you can use it anywhere you want. My winch in connected to my receiver at the back end of my truck. As to difficulty, it is only four wires to connect. Black to ground, red to power, white and yellow for the in and out. I connected the wires to my solenoid, replacing the long wires to my wired controller. Done and working. Is the price fair, there are some a couple of dollars less but who knows. I like this one, I have not seen any others that encase their big remote in a rubber sleeve to protect it so that is worth the couple of dollars more to me. ... show more
