This is such a beautiful set of dishes! My only concern in the time that I have owned it is scratching and heat. It runs perfectly through the dishwasher, so it appears to hold well there, but I confess I'm hesitant to put thru the microwave at 100% strength for more than a minute. Too many reports of cracking in other reviews. I think with gentle care, however, the set will last a good long time. The color is beautiful, I ordered the vanilla white which is such a soft neutral that it really plays well against everything. The lines are modern and clean and it's overall beautiful. I do recommend this, but only if you purchase it at a fair price.
