When I first opened the box, I wasn't thrilled with the color (I'd ordered the 'Blue Fusion'). It seemed to have kind of a gray undertone and just wasn't pleasing to my eye. As I've used them over the past week, the color has grown on me a bit although I think I may have liked the 'Navy Peony' more. To be honest, the embossing seems a little crude but, again, has become less an issue as I have gotten used to them. Apart from the color and pattern, the plates have a nice, substantial weight to them. They work fine in the microwave (as advertised). I especially like the size of the bowls. They are larger than the bowls with my previous dinner sets and are a great size for soups or my morning cereal.

These are cute and perfectly sized without being too big. They would work in a country or farmhouse type kitchen. Mine is a bit more on the boho side and they work well for that too. No complaints. Sturdy. Well made.

Glazing and color is durable and well applied. Pattern is easily visible on all pieces and uniform as well. All pieces feel sturdy and heavy duty. Easy to clean. Highly recommend.

A friend was moving into their 1st apartment and needed alot of basics. I volunteered and said I will get you a plate set. I found this set and even a coupon so it was only $56. I was the hero for dropping these off. They are beautiful, a deep embossed blue and I love the design specifically on the bowls. Just a great first place setting for 4. Dishwasher safe, easy to clean and again just gorgeous. I made my friend cry but in the most wonderful way when I gave these to her. She thinks I spent hundreds and really appreciates them. So happy with my choice.
