I have a really nice set of matte black plates that I got on amazon and I love the style of them but was wanting to change up the color. When I came across these the style is very similar to what I have and the reviews were pretty good. I ordered beige and they arrived quickly. In the pictures online they definitely look a nice earthy beige but in person, they almost give off a creamy tan/white color. It's not a bad color just not how it looks in the picture, in my opinion. Also, since the color is a bit lighter in person, you can see that these have some type of speck detail in the plates, it's very hard to tell in the pictures, I had to go back and zoom in to see that the specks are there in the ad pictures. I'm not positive yet if these will replace my black ones or if I'll return them. The quality appears very nice, and it's a great size set for the price under $70 but the color definitely isn't exactly what I was looking for. Maybe I'll warm up to it.

In the title, the white is described as 'milk white', but when I place it next to my pure white plates, it's grayish white. And especially on my gray placemats - it looks like a very light gray. Nice, but not the pure white, or even milky-white I hoped for. Also, the glaze is speckled, which isn't even mentioned in the description. That's also acceptable. And I like the unexpected finish underneath, which the product description calls "wood look" - it's a rustic, unglazed terracotta, and if you catch it in the right light, it has tiny sparkles. The underside is a stark contrast to the minimalist appearance of this set - I love the lipped plates and the straight-sided bowls. Simple, clean lines on the table. Plus, they stack so well in my limited cupboard space. And of course, I wouldn't have even considered them if they were not dishwasher and microwave safe. I usually dislike complete matching sets, opting for mix-and-match, to personalize my dinner table, but I'm very happy with this minimalist set. And having the speckled glaze and terracotta underside makes them versatile enough to go from a farmhouse look, to contemporary.

This four-piece set is an excellent starter set for someone getting their first home or apartment. It has everything a small family would need, is stylish, and durable and easy to wash. It comes packaged in a way that is easy to gift - I would have loved to receive a set like this for my college graduation when I was just starting out on my own. The white, which is what I ordered, looks great with any decor and is quite modern. I will note that the set is quite heavy and I would be hesitant for my elderly parents to use it at their home, as trying to wash and put them away in their cabinets is a recipe for drops and shatters. But for most people, this is a great set.

I am slowly converting all of my kitchen stuff to pink. I have had a hard time finding dishes until I stumbled upon these and they are perfection. The pink is a very light blush. This set is made of a heavy ceramic with a "wooden" bottom. The tall edges of the plates prevent any spillage from sauces/gravies and even with the rims they stack perfectly. These dishes have "microwave and dish washer safe" and so far I haven't had any issues with them. Time will tell if they chip or start getting too hot when microwaved so I will update my review accordingly. As of right now I am so in love with this set with no complaints.

In a last act of vengeance, my dying dishwasher took out a good bit of my tableware. You can only use the Christmas china for so long. My bad, I did not read the product description well, and didn't realize this was stoneware. The package was packed so well, nothing could have hurt this stoneware, short of it flying off the truck. You'll not have to worry about sending a piece back, or arguing over a replacement. It is truly a beautiful set of dishes. I'd love to be able to use it, but I have advanced arthritis in hands and wrists, and the plate even without food was not doable. That's why I took off one star. All things considered, it is an excellent set of dishes, and I think for the price, you'd be hard pressed to beat this deal. Pick your color carefully they do vary a bit from the pictures. Probably because the shades are so subtle. The rims on the plates make them perfect for spaghetti or gravy meals. These bowls were made for chili night.
