This frame comes in pieces that require NO tools. I put it together in less than 10 minutes. My box springs fit perfectly, there even is about a two inch adjustment if your box springs are a little larger. The frame is totally silent while I am moving around & is very sturdy. Great buy for the $$!!

I bought 2 of the twin size frames for my kids. They were very easy to assemble and seemed very sturdy until one day my husband sat on one if the beds and the rails fell! The plastic ends popped off the ends of the rails. I did notice while putting the beds together that the bedrails or slats didn't fit snuggly in the designated place for them. Super sturdy, I've done all sorts of activity on it, and no movement, no sound. I assembled it by myself at a leisurely pace in about an hour.
