Bought the unstained version. Wood was sanded and easy to stain. If i could do it again, i would just buy the stained version but i was trying to match my stand. Very nice swing. Directions excellent for easy assembly and chain great too. Really love it a d great value

The swing is very well made. Nice and sturdy. Not hard to assemble. Only 4 stars because of 2 chips out of the wood. One in the backrest and the other under the seat which is no big deal.
