I gut renovated my entire home, with just under 100 of these lights being installed. They worked great overall, had one defective out of the box with a light color toggle missing, which the box still works, but is at the 2700 color only. Other item was quality control between boxes. With the 5 boxes ordered, I had 5 different configurations of the cables, so after applying the InSure cable connectors I made the mistake of mixing the lights in one set of boxes and electrical boxes in another to make my process easier; I thought. This caused trouble later when I was attaching the actual lights as I had to go up a ladder and see that I needed a "female with tab and screw cap" or a "male with flat end, no screw cap," or different configuration of such, go back down the ladder, sort through the lights to find the configuration needed and then go back up the ladder to attach. Considering 100 of these from HD or Lowes would of run me $2,500 vs these costing all told <$600, I'm of the opinion it was a great investment as they look indistinguishable once installed. ... show more

I installed these in a closet and also used them to replace existing can lights in my basement. Very easy to install, and love the convenience of a switch to select color temperature. I set a whiter light for my closets and a warmer light for the living area and didn't have to purchase separate lights. Included wire nuts work great. Purchase a 6.25" hole saw and these just pop in. I use one with a dust catcher to reduce mess. Only thing missing are box connectors to protect the wire from the sharp edges of the box cutouts. 3/8" plastic push-in box connectors work great and are much cheaper and easier to use than the metal screw-down ones from years past. ... show more
