I have personally installed 24 of these in my home across the living room and 3 bedrooms. I work with many contractors and DYI home professionals and we order these LED lights from Amico for several remodel projects. I can tell you these are a great value and work extremely well. No complaints from any of the contractors and home professionals that have installed these. The manufacturer sells these in sets of 6, 12, 16, 20, or 24. At the time of this review, the 20-pack was the least expensive per light (around $6 each). The light is extremely thin which makes it easy to install. Thicker lights can conflict with existing wooden beams that are in the ceiling. These are just the size of your drywall and have a nice fit. The tabs on sides allow you snugly keep it flush with the ceiling. You can use a screwdriver to easily remove the light. The color selector is great well. Being able to alternate colors depending on the furniture in the room and use of the room gives you flexibility. The rooms are so much brighter with these lights. These are nice, first time using them. Included push-in connectors, KO’s are the correct size, 5 color K selectable, metal junction box, out of 20 lights all worked and no broken hardware. Used these for a customers new second floor addition for soffit lighting. Not as cheap as Sunco brand and not as expensive as well known name brands, for me it is a perfect balance of cost and quality. Time will tell if they continue to perform. I highly recommend these lights. My fiancé and I are putting them throughout our entire home. I am in love the amount of control we have with these lights given that we can adjust the intensity of each individual light. I am so happy with my purchase of these lights. They are super easy to install and the clips on each side hold them securely into place. I do not recommend these lights to be installed into an area that either the ceiling is too thick or where the electrical wiring is inaccessible. My fiancé and I can do whatever we want as far as placement of these lights because we are also having them connected to rewiring of our entire house. Because of this, lights are going outside in the well covered patio, closets, and even in the linen closet. These lights can be installed without having to go into the attic, but the connecting wires and the box of the light need to be able to sit somewhere near the light in the attic or whatever space is above where they are being installed. Also, they can be connected in a series. In our case, we turn them on in sets meaning we are not switching all of them on at the same time, they are in groups within multiple areas of our home. Used these in a home lighting update. I hated using the canned retrofits, these were way better. Selectable color temps is great, no more dealing and guessing what temp I need to purchase from the big box stores.
