    • Works, but causes some issues with some switches
These work great and are great color. I only wish they could dim down a touch more. I have Lutron MACL-153 switches and if I turn on the light, then dim them down all the way, then turn off the light, then when I attempt to turn them back on, the power level is so low that the can lights don't turn on until I dim them up a bit. Also, with those switches sometimes they have a lag when they turn on. For example, in my hallway I have 2 of these lights. But sometimes the lag is so bad that when I turn on the switch at the beginning of the hallway, the lights won't turn on until I'm at the end and at that point I need to turn them off. The reason I bring up these two issues is that in the manual it says they are compatible with that light switch, so the fact that I'm seeing this issue (and it's not just that switch, all locations have those two issues) means that these lights aren't 100% compatible with that switch. So that's a bit misleading... ... show more

Love the two part design and the thinness of the actual light fixture. The selectable color temperature was an excellent capability. Don't forget the Romex connectors because the are not part of the kit. Plastic or metal connectors will fit the 1/2 inch knockouts on side of the connection/control box. ... show more

This is my 3rd set of slim recessed LED lights to review and this set is the best yet! a) the installed lights are bright (light output) and have a great color (6000K) b) the partition between the circuit board and the wiring well is plastic, instead of a sharp metal like others I've reviewed c) the soldering of the connections is clean d) the wire on the back of the lamp is directed away from the housing, not on an angle towards the side like others that makes it difficult to get the wire through the drywall. I've included a photograph of the laundry room where I installed 4 of these lights. The photo doesn't do it justice of the very noticeable difference when working in the laundry room! I highly recommend these lights! I've already started using them to replace other LED lights of a different brand that have already failed. ... show more

    • not compatible with lutron caseta!!!!!
no idea why they sell this when not compatible with lutron caseta the most popular dimmer and remote. instructrons say if you are not satisfied the y will provide compensation. it only means they will give you your money back if you hire electriction to take lights out and send them back.
