It was quite an assembly project, but the quality of the product is quite good and we are pleased with the purchase. Be prepared for two boxes that arrive on different days and each weigh over 100 pounds. It's not that difficult to assemble but there are just a lot of parts and many fasteners and dowels. The instructions are wordless which I like, but even though I followed them carefully I made a mistake that cost be a couple of hours of disassembly and reassembly. If the manufacture reads these I recommend that a study we done to commonize the fasteners. There are so many different fasteners and multiple sizes of dowels. You have a good potential cost savings and it certainly would make the assembly easier and faster. ... show more

Much more difficult to put together than what other comments were saying, but it is certainly doable. Just expect to take about eight hours or so. Seems dirty so far, it’s not made out of 100% wood so expect some chipping in areas. Otherwise looks great. I spray paint in the handles black to match the rest of the black pieces. We put it together. The first time we tried to close it the screws ripped out of the wood. It is too heavy for the cheap hardware that comes with it. A total piece of junk. Do not buy. Takes a long time to put together.

For starters… “Assembly Time: 2 hours, 2 people” is a straight lie. With 2 people, this took us 10 hours. There’s over 400 pieces of hardware, there’s 63 steps NOT 23, and about 60+ pieces of wood. This was a beast to put together. All in all, it seems to made decently for the price, even with being MDF wood/particle board, it had enough hardware hopefully making it durable enough. With 400+ pieces, I mean, it should. There are a few “blemishes”/abnormalities with the wood grain/staining I wasn’t particularly happy with, but since this company is notorious for not allowing exchanges or returns without the buyer paying for the shipping (and who would return this after spending the time it takes to put together??) it’s something to just deal with. For the overall quality and price, I’d say it’s fair… but buyer just beware, it takes a very LONG time to put together and there are way more steps than advertised, the instructions are not always clear or concise and there were about 10 overall pieces not labeled but thankfully they were easy enough to figure out by looking at everything closely. I’d give it a 5/10 for the headache and instructions and a 6.5-7/10 for quality. ... show more
