  • The best floating TV stand with fireplace
Size: 68" Color: Black
I've purchased several wall units and this was the first to come with a template/layout of where the screws and brackets should be. It was very easy to install and came with a very good user friendly manual and extra screws. It's sleek, modern and serves as storage as well. The heat can get pretty hot, and it has a cool fan option as well. The lights has several color and brightness options too. It comes with a remote, but you can also use the buttons on the console. ... show more

  • Not well suited for an electronics-heavy setup. No flexibility in mounting
Size: 68" Color: All White
I want to start out by saying the unit looks amazing. The mounting hardware was really nice, as you can tighten the hooks onto the wall brackets for a snug fit. It was really easy to assemble. Installation instructions recommend 2 people to assemble and install, but I found the only part I needed help with was physically lifting it to hang it on the wall. The only complaint I have from a setup and assembly standpoint was that the pre-drilled holes for the cabinet back panels were in the wrong spot, so I had to drill new holes to secure them properly. The instructions will also tell you to install the fireplace and doors before you hang the unit. I strongly suggest leaving them off until the unit is on the wall, as all of the cable management runs behind the fireplace and you’ll need to remove it to run your wires (I put a cable pathway inside my wall from the TV to inside of the unit to hide all of my HDMI cords, there are notches cut in the top of the divider panels between the cabinets and the fireplace niche to run cables). There are just a couple of things to note before you pull the trigger on this unit: 1) If you have an electronics-heavy setup, it may be better to find something else. The cabinets are small and have no ventilation. It’s best to install your electronics on top of the unit. Only problem is there are no cable pass-through holes cut in the top, so you’ll need to drill them yourself. I found this annoying, as I was going for a clean, cable-free appearance. 2) The manufacturer states that the unit is intended to be installed on either a brick or concrete wall, and the hardware provided is for a brick or concrete application. If you live in the United States, it’s highly unlikely that this will be the case. The wall bracket is not a continuous angle, it’s four (4) small brackets that need to go in very specific locations. The likelihood of you hitting a stud with this setup is slim-to-none, which was the case in my installation. I used 3/16 - 24 toggle bolts and it seems solid now, but I’m a little concerned with the longevity. Overall I’m really happy with the appearance of the unit, but functionally there are some improvements that can be made. If you have some level of hands-on experience, you’ll be able to make small modifications to tailor it to your specific setup. However if you’re expecting to just assemble, hang and have it work for any setup, I would look for something else. ... show more

  • Love this Floating TV Stand!
Size: 68" Color: Black/White
I love this TV stand! It looks great in my living room, and the electric fireplace adds a cozy touch. It’s sleek, modern, and has plenty of storage space for my entertainment items. At first, I was concerned about hanging it on my drywall since the brackets didn’t align with the studs in my wall. However, I found a simple solution: I used two pieces of 1x4 oak wood lumber (only one is shown in the picture) – I installed one at the top and another 10 inches below the first. Then, I screwed the TV stand brackets into the 1x4s, which securely anchored the stand to the wall. The result was perfect! The stand is stable, and it sits pretty flat against the wall, with only a small gap (about half an inch) that's barely noticeable. My only suggestion is to carefully read the instructions before starting assembly. I made the mistake of not reading the entire booklet and rushing through it the first time. I had to redo some steps. As for customer service, the seller was fantastic! I reached out about a small chip on the top of the stand (presumably during the shipping process), and they were very responsive. They even offered to replace the unit, but I declined since it wasn’t a big issue. Instead, they offered me a partial refund, which I appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this TV stand – it’s stylish, functional, and the company has great customer service! ... show more

  • Sturdy, easy to build/mount, and great value!
Size: 80" Color: Black
This fireplace is exactly what you need for your ambience or entertainment center. It assembles quickly, the instructions are very clear and the parts come in numbered bags. It's very well built and sturdy when assembled. It weighs about 95 pounds, have a partner to help mount it. The heat produced is really good, and heats our basement family room nicely. The fireplace is also really quiet, and doesn't distract from the movie volume. This fireplace is an amazing value, too. Hits all the major categories at a lower cost than many competitors. Mounting and Installation: Like a lot of others have said, I first mounted an oak 1x4 on my wall, anchoring to the studs. Cut to fit the need of your fireplace. The back of the unit is not flat, it has a lip around it. When you mount the brackets for hanging the fireplace the unit is angled slightly forward. You should also buy and mount a board for the bottom of the fireplace. The bottom board should be slightly thicker than the top board. Because, with the mounting brackets the top of the fireplace sits ~1/8-1/4" out from the 1x4, even with the board mounted to sit flush on (not inside) the lip. Cable Management: My previous solution was a floor unit fireplace with a TV sitting directly on the fireplace. This floating fireplace required me to mount my TV to the wall, and I didn't want as many cables showing. Once mounted there are no holes to get the power cord or any AV cables out of the cabinets. I used a 1.5" hole saw bit and put grommets in. For me: 1 grommet out the top of each side (to run gaming cables when necessary), 1 grommet through the included adjustable storage shelf, and one grommet out the center bottom for the power cord. There is a lot of space behind the fireplace insert so you could mount a power strip there and drill additional grommet holes from each storage area to that power strip. ... show more

  • Update: sagging already:Lots of work personal tools required
Size: 68" Color: White
Update: Purchased in January 2024. As of March 2024 it has begun to sag already. Don’t buy it. You’re better off building something. So it took us a week and a half to get it all put up and completed. I was prepared for this because all the other comments said it took a long time to complete and hang and everyone else said they had to do a lot of extra things to get it completed and hung. Everyone was right about the seller sending you an email letting you know there would be two boxes and that they would come on different days, however, both boxes came on the same day here. I greatly appreciated the seller giving this type of customer service. There were parts within the actual fireplace as others stated. You will have to remove the faceplate and unscrew the side panel to get them out. Problems that the seller should improve upon: 1:The doors are hard to adjust. The hinges are designed for using a screwdriver (not provided) to adjust. We’re still trying to get them just right. 2: Everyone was correct that almost all the pre-drilled holes are not lined up correctly. You will need painters tape to keep the coating from cracking placed around where you are drilling. You will need a drill and drill bits (not provided). I have a picture above showing how we put painters tape on the shelf prior to drilling. I suggest the manufacturer check its settings. 3: You must put up additional bracing. We used a 1” by 1” to secure the shelf. We put a brace onto the wall first so that the shelf would hang on the bracing and was positioned so it was directly behind the fireplace. As there are dividers for the cabinets you will see this is the best placement for the bracing. We put up a secondary bracing directly under the shelf which extends the length of the shelf. Without this additional bracing underneath you risk your cabinet bowing downward prematurely. The weight of the cabinet also needs this bracing as many comments talked about how they tore their drywall up trying to put the cabinet up without bracing. We used wood screws in the top to secure through the wall brace which is why we used painters tape. The tape kept the design from cracking. I read several comments who said their design cracked when drilling into it so I foreplanned to use the painters tape to prevent this and it worked. The bracing is not provided nor even recommended by the seller. This is a fault and the seller should include wood bracing and add it to the instructions. The hanging wall brackets were as faulty as the comments stated. We just threw them away. The cheap material used to make them would bend easily. We used wood screws drilled directly through the shelf into the pre drilled and hung wall 1” by 1” wood bracing. Again, the seller should ditch the brackets , provide wood bracing with wood screws and have accurately lined up pre-drilled holes for this. 4: You will need help hanging this. It’s a two person job. You will need someone who has tools and knowledge of using them and someone who understands weights with regards to hanging them and knowledge of measuring, tools etc. 5: You will need a drill, drill bits, wood screws, wood for bracing, saw to cut the wood, painters tape, flat tip and cross tip screw drivers of various sizes (small and medium ones we used), and a driver. None of these tools are provided and the instructions say nothing about needing them or using them. 6: The instructions were as bad as the comments said. I show a page up above. Typical instructions printed with pictures instead of great detail in actual writing. I swear these manufacturers and sellers think people cannot read. Give me a well written set of instructions any day and not this crap show and tell picture junk. 7: if you’re planning on keeping the Wi-Fi boxes in the cabinet just fyi we had to leave out a shelf because the Wi-Fi even with the antenna turned down are too tall. 8: The cardboard that goes behind the cabinets we left off because we could not get the rest of the cabinet parts to attach with it on because it is not cut correctly. We threw them away as well. 9: The remote could be much bigger as it’s so small it’s easy to lose. Additionally, I’m not certain how universal this remote is or replaceable should it die or break. 10: I didn’t know whether to make this comment a negative or positive. We choose to have someone come in and add a plus in behind the fireplace so as to have the cords hidden. Otherwise you end up with all your cords from the fireplace and anything else you put in here hanging out. As you can see our sound bar we forgot to plan it in so it’s still hanging alongside the cabinet. That’s on the to-do list to get it hidden. 11: The fireplace cord is on the side inside of the back of the fireplace making mounting difficult and causing concern as you literally have to bend and squeeze the cord into place. You must push hard to insert the fireplace and we had to push the fireplace down physically to get the pre-drilled holes to line up. Approvals: It does look nice when completed. The fireplace works well. Our living room is larger and it still slowly heats it. The shelf does not get hot no matter how long the fireplace heat is on. The fireplace blows hot and cold air which is a bonus. It is very quiet and ascetically pleasing. The cabinets light up nicely. You can fit a ps4 in the cabinet easily. I read a comment saying they couldn’t but ours sits in there with room to spare. Xbox is another game console that would also fit inside the cabinet. Because of the necessary changes needed listed above is why I gave it the rating. ... show more
