This kayak is decent overall, but it’s noticeably slower than others I’ve used. Even with a pedal drive, it doesn’t move as efficiently, which seems to be a limitation of the hull design rather than the drive itself. The dry bag hatch could also be improved as water tends to pool on top, and even after wiping it down, opening the hatch allows water to drain inside. I’ve had to bring a rag to manage this, which shouldn’t be necessary. On the positive side, it’s very convenient for traveling. It fits easily in my RAV4, making transport simple. I would recommend avoiding shallow water with this kayak and using it primarily during higher tides. Stability is good overall, and standing is possible, but it does require solid balance to do so comfortably.

I really wanted to love the kayak but unfortunatly the rudder is subpar and cheaply made. Took it out for a test run and the rudder screw thread came loose. Also the pedal lock cam is junk aswell. Returned the item back to Amazon. Hopefully they will improve the rudder and pedal lock system then i might reconsider purchasing another one.
