UPDATE: it’s now a 5 star because not only doesn’t it look great and is made of quality products. The heater part didn’t work come winter. Even though my return window was closed they seen my original review below and contacted me. They sent me a new heater insert. It is working great. My living room is nice and warm. Great customer service along with a great product. I will definitely buy from the same seller and brand when I need more furniture. Thank you! Looks great and went together wonderfully. But… I bought it in July. Tried the heat it worked. No the it is cold. I turned the fireplace part in and it worked for one day . Now I have the lights but no heat coming from the fireplace. No longer can I return the product. It would be a 5 stars if it was working properly.

I made this purchase after the cold weather was almost gone so I haven't used the heat much at all. It looks beautiful and was easy to assemble (no more than 3.5 hours by myself). I do wish the fire had the crackle sound but I'm still giving it a 5 star because I'm in love with how it looks. It is the perfect size for my 55 inch TV.

I am very pleased with my new console with fireplace. It came within 4 days after ordering. To let you know, I am 76 years old. I found the directions were very clear and the unit was easy to assemble. I cannot tell you how long it took to assemble because I need to rest every so often. I assembled it by myself. All the parts were there and nothing was missing or broken. No problems putting it together. It is beautiful and puts out plenty of heat.

I really like this fireplace tv stand. It has a nice design and the fireplace insert is very nice quality. It gives off good heat also. I haven’t cranked the temperature but it warms up the area it’s in. Now to the assembly: I was glad I laid out all the pieces and would suggest to KEEP THEM IN THEIR BAGS as you’re building. You have to keep going back to various bags and it was helpful to know which one it was. The instructions were VERY good and helpful. It was helpful to have a drill for some things but a lot of it is of camlocks with screws. They’re weren’t too bad. But you’ll see my one problem I encountered in my pictures. Most of the wood, I think, is a layered composite so the piece where the hinges screw into, had the screw right into the direction of the layer lines and it split. So I thought I’d try and put a screw in the back of it crosswise to strengthen it but no luck, it split the whole piece in half. So I took that piece off and glued and clamped it for a day. Then I pre-drilled and did 3 cross screw to strengthen it. The hinge screws were small but they split it right up. I felt like I strengthened my carpenter skills with that road bump. Besides that, the assembly went really well. Not counting my carpentry fixes, it might have taken me 3 hrs total. But I would recommend this one, for sure! I like the look of the fire and the logs. It doesn’t look as fake as some others did.

This product was well engineered and constructed with tight tolerances for fit and finish. While mostly constructed of wood-resembling laminate covered particleboard and some wood-grained, printed vinyl covered pressboard, the completed cabinet seems very sturdy and attractive. The electric fireplace insert came in a separate box and arrived a day earlier than the cabinet. Construction took me about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. The instructions are primarily in the form of drawings but are generally clear enough to make assembly straightforward. The main issue that I had was a missing threaded inset nut used to attach the block that affixes one of the doors. It took several back-and-forth messages with the seller to finally determine that they could not tell ne the exact size of the nut. They generally replied to messages within 24 hours. I took measurements of the pilot hole where the nut was missing and determined an approximate size. I ordered a set of inset nuts from Amazon that included multiple sizes. The size that I had estimated turned out to be correct. It is a 6mm X 10mm inset nut; 6mm being the interior thread size and 10mm being the length. It fit perfectly and I was able to complete the construction. The seller gave me a generous refund to offset the time and cost of this. The only other issue was some minor damage, not reported to the seller, on a couple of the parts. I'm not sure if this happened in shipping or during manufacture. The top piece had a bend at the back right corner. It did not cause a problem with assembly and could not be detected without careful inspection. The other problem was one of the vinyl-covered pieces of pressboard that make up the back was broken across one of the corners. However, the vinyl backing kept it together and after sliding into the back slot, it was neither noticeable nor structurally impaired. On high, the fireplace raised the 400 sq ft basement room 1 degree in one hour (from 58 to 59 degrees). After 5 hours the temperature was at 64 degrees. It remained at 64 after 7 hours. It definitely produces hot air when standing directly in front of it. The fan is quiet and will not affect the tv enjoyment of most listeners. The logs and flames do resemble a real fire. I am not sure how it compares to other electric fireplaces, but overall, we were pleased by the effect,

Love it. Bought it for under our tv and it’s perfect size. Nice storage areas and the fireplace looks great. Wish it had a more natural fire setting the purple one is great but.

This is heavy on arrival - a 2 person lift. And it really needs 2 people to put together. A know-how friend with power tools assisted (an electric screwdriver or drill is a good idea). I had all the pieces out of the box and ready. It took the two of us a little over 1.5 hours. The instructions are great. This is a large piece, if you take assembly seriously with 2 people it will be easy. Everything arrived in good condition. This is a sturdy, functional, and good looking piece of furniture. The fireplace was easy to connect, easier than the kind with crystals that need to be installed inside the fireplace. This one just works as it is when it arrives. The trade-off is that the it isn't quite as convincing a fire as the crystal-inside type (which are wall mounted or insert stand alone - not combo furniture as this unit is). I needed the multi-use (saves a lot of space), so, I am very happy with my choice. The heater also works great.
