okay, so, the tv stand looks nice. It really does. The assembly was easy up until installing the doors. The hinges did not align to the holes at all. I tried various methods yet nothing worked. I ended drilling my own holes. The doors close but we will not be using them often as they are a pain to close and don’t align perfectly.

Update: Seller was very responsive and agreed to replace, fix, or refund the TV stand so I'm changing my rating to 4 stars. Looks nice and quality seems decent. The installation was ok until you get to the doors. The pre-drilled holes for the hinges don't align. And if you're able to somehow get the screws in, the doors themselves won't align. I spent 2 hours just on the doors trying to get them to align following their instructions, but no luck.

Let me save you a click, some money, and some frustration… DO NOT PURCHASE. The assembly is a disaster. I’ve assembled tons of furniture pieces over the years and this was by far the worst. I couldn’t even think of anything that came close to it in terms of pure frustration. The booklet and drawings are horrible, failing to communicate important things to align or what side should face which way etc throughout the process. The hardware is inadequate- the screws aren’t strong or sturdy enough, and good luck with the manual screwdriver provided. Worse of all - there are MULTIPLE instances where pilot holes do not match up. This means you may need to make new ones, except you could easily damage the piece permanently as the pieces are so cheap. The cabinets do not align, the hinges pull the screws out anytime you open it - just a disaster. Don’t bother. There’s also multiple steps where you need to flip the piece over before it’s fully assembled. If you aren’t careful, certain pieces will crack, ripe, and break just by orienting the item the correct way for each step. If you’ve made it this far in my review… then move along to a different item!

I really like the overall design and sturdiness of this TV stand—the wood itself feels solid and well made. However, the assembly process was frustrating due to several issues. Some hardware pieces were missing or did not match the listed quantities. When installing the doors, they did not align evenly, leaving a noticeable gap between them. Additionally, one side had no pre-drilled holes at all (I did triple checked, I installed it right), and the pre-drilled holes that were present did not line up correctly. Because of these issues, I ultimately had to request a return. While the material quality is good, the missing parts, misaligned doors, and inaccurate pre-drilling significantly impacted the overall experience and unfortunately detracted from what could have been a great product.
