    • Flimsy and terrible plans
So i finally finished building it and it was a real nightmare. I never saw plans that were so complicated to follow. They are hard to read and make you undo things you did before way to often. If you are not good are building things don't even try here. The bottom frame is so thin it bends, you will hardly get a perfect rectangle. The door is backward on the plans also, so be ready for a headache. Update: 15mph winds the roof got ripped and the wall are falling appart. Had to put straps around to hold it so i can fix it later on. Hopefully won't lose my plants. Absolutely awful product, DO NOT BUY!! ... show more

    • Not a bad price for what you get.
I cant imagine assembling this without putting it on a base. I used 4 X 4 treated to assemble this on, this helped out bunches. Directions are a little vague but i was able to figure it out. the door took about two hours but once you figured out the directions the rest of the project went well. I assembled this by myself and and had no issues. Fitting pieces on the front A frame top had issues and could line up with cross brace, so I couldn't imagine if this was not set on a level 4 X 4 Base. overall i assembled it in two day causual work about 4 hours each day ... show more

I purchased this 6'x12' greenhouse and its been nothing but a waste of time and money. Disclaimer: if you are married and putting this together with your spouse, make sure you have a strong marriage before attempting. You may end up divorced. #1 the parts came bent, holes not ligned up very well and very flimsy. I was willing to deal with that as I knew I was getting aluminum framing. The panels are super thin and cheap. Many of them were too large to fit in the channels so I had to cut them down to size. Again not a huge deal. I can work with that. #2 missing parts. You don't get enough of the special shaped bolts to complete the project. The heads are flat on one side and round on the others so they can slide in to the channels. I was missing one rail to hold in the vent panel so it can't even be completed. I called the telephone number on the instructions booklet and the first few times it rang and rang and rang.... No answer. I thought, "okay maybe there is a time zone difference." I'll try again early in the day." Nope! Now there is only a busy tone every time I call for the past 3 days..I've called multiple times at different times of the day. Nothing but beep beep beep. Meanwhile I emailed them and still don't have a response. It's becoming too hot in the season to start my plants and I've wasted $700 plus on a pile of aluminum and cheap plastic. I'd say that "Happy Tao" has terrible customer service, but there is NO customer service. Does anybody even work for them? Don't waste your money on this garbage. You can buy the materials at Home Depot and get way better results. If you can figure out how to put this monstrosity together you can design a much better one on your own. ... show more

    • Instructions are vague at best. Allocate several days to complete installation with assistance.
Very flimsy material. No rubber gaskets or seals. Instructions are lacking clarity and are not in English. Required many steps to be redone several times. Alignment of most parts difficult.

    • what else do you expect for the price?
First impression: I opened the packages and immediately regretted dumping $700 into this purchase. The "polycarbonate panels" feel like a cheap plastic you would expect to get from McDonalds. I was also worried about the height of the greenhouse being too short to walk in, since I'm 6'2". 2nd thoughts: All the reviews say that this is impossible to assemble. I put it 80% together by myself in one afternoon in my living room. The instructions are pretty bad, but this really isn't much different than ikea furniture. Now that I have the structure mostly put together it is a lot sturdier than I originally thought it would be. I'm still worried about strong winds, but I'll get some tie downs after I install it outside. As for the height, it's taller than me. I can walk in the middle without ducking with no issues at all. if u buy this 6x12 greenhouse it isn t a 6x12. it is a 6x8 with a 4ft extension if i would have known that i wouldn't have bought it. which i believe this seller has screwed me. It isn t worth $700 at best $300. When it arrived by FedEx it looked like the package had been damaged in shipping, i understand issues with shipping so i started putting this green house together put it was missing parts for the door and parts for the vents on the roof, got lost in shipping right.... then i opened one of the zip lock bags the brackets for the vents and doors were in and there wasn't enough parts in the bag. That is when i realized i been screwed i was sent a sub-par product had already been open and resealed. So i was either sold a open box item or something someone sent back for being a sub-par product. i didn't buy a used or open box product i was on the impression this was new and by the look of the picture that is on the amazon web-site and by the way the picture of the greenhouse on the web site isn't correct either. The only way i would be happy about this Christmas present disaster to my wife would be to half my money back. ... show more

Assembly was pretty rough because there are so many parts but the instructions were decently clear. It took 2 people a weekend to put it together. It has held up through some pretty nasty storms. We are struggling to get 2 of 3 windows to stay on, they fly off with the slightest breeze. I took them off for the summer but hoping to find a solution for fall. Other than that things are flourishing, much more than my outside garden ... show more
