It's pretty. It sucks to put together. Overall it's sturdy, but the finish is very thin and made cheaply. There is also a block of wood that is necessary for the door to shut properly. That block of wood is super cheap and will definitely split when you screw into it as the directions say. We continued with assembly, but the block will ultimately fail at some point. Have some wood glue handy. The finish was torn in one place when we got it out of the box. Picture attached. They did send several "patches" to cover areas like this but the patches are thick and not bendable. The scratched finish was on the edge so we can't use the patch. It took 2 people about an hour to assemble. So it outside or in an area with a lot of room. Overall happy with the product. It holds a lot of stuff in our small bathroom that doesn't have a towel closet. We've only had it up about a week but the humidity from the shower doesn't seem to be an issue for the press board at this time. ... show more

I bought this cabinet to store art supplies & I wanted something that would look nice in the living room. This one fit the bill & wasn’t too expensive. I assembled it myself in about 2 hours without any issues (50 year old woman). I’ve assembled many pieces like this before & have learned to be patient & take my time with each step, making sure I understand the directions before I proceed. The door is aligned perfectly, it’s level & very sturdy. The delivery was quick & I’m very happy with this purchase. My next project is the matching double cabinet that just arrived today. This product was exactly what I needed for the space I needed it. Very easy to assemble. Unfortunately mine was damaged but I am not strong enough to return it so I just assembled it and hoped for the best. You can’t tell after it’s put together so I’m fine with it. Ordered this product because the size was perfect but was concerned about getting the piece without damage. A lot of the previous reviews said they had damage on the corners and the box was torn, etc. My box had a little wear on the corners but nothing damaged. There was styrofoam to protect the pieces. All of the hardware is individually marked in separate packages which made it much easier to construct. It comes with an instruction book that was easy to follow. It did take some time to put together and I could not have done it alone but my husband had no problem with it. It's definitely worth the price and the time it took. I love it! Was not fun to put together. For the price the quality seems to be good. Shipped overnight pretty much and seems sturdy. I expected poor quality for the price but it seems fairly strong. No screws stripped, it was packaged well, and its pretty heavy! Instructions were clear as well.

This is a good shelf cabinet. I purchased to use as a small pantry. The hardware that is used for this piece is the poorest quality. I get to the part of actually putting the cabinet together with the cam hooks & the hooks themselves are falling apart in my hands. So I had to stop assembly and store pieces safely all around my house so my children wouldn't tear them up & call for replacement parts the next day. It took right at a week to get the replacement cam hooks. Finally got it pit together this evening. I worry about the cam hooks weakening under pressure & the cabinet actually falling apart. I wouldn't purchase another cabinet like this. They say you get what you pay for. ... show more

No complaints! It's not expensive furniture so I kept my expectations realistic. It's cheap press board and wasn't all perfect, but I was able to put them together alone until I needed an extra set of hands to attach the doors. I didn't put the fixed shelf in the middle of the 18" cabinet so I could add a broom rack and I'm happy with the result. ... show more
