I bought this product as I was recently divorced and staying in a friend's large she shed. They ran on propane and I didn't want to use up any of that so I purchased this heater fireplace. The time to put it together was reasonable for the size. Took me appx 1.5 hours (I didn't have a drill to screw in the screws at the time, that was my next purchase 😁). I got it all together and turned it on and it didn't work 😭. I called Amazon up and they shipped me an entirely new one. Needless to say at that point I hadn't ordered the drill and really didn't want to disassemble one and reassemble another. So, per Amazon approval, I just swapped out the heating portion as that was one of the last things to be put in when assembling. Now that I have a functional heater it was time to put it to the test. Hands down the best I have ever encountered! Love the timed function and the different fireplace lighting features. The noise is very minimal. It heated the she shed VERY well. This is a sturdy well built piece of furniture. The doors lined up perfect the 1st time. The hinges function perfectly as a springed hinge. Now it has been 3 years and I live in a house vs a she shed. I still use this heater. It will heat my living/dinning room area in no time at all. And it is super cute and functional in any living space I currently have a 50 inch TV on it. Oh ... It is also super nice when I want to have a "cozy" or "romantic" evening as the fireplace can function without having the heat function on. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted an electric fireplace for many years, finally decided to invest in one so we could enjoy it this winter in our new home. I was thankful for other people’s reviews as they helped me select this one, decided to add my opinion. I won’t lie, it took me several hours to put together and my wrist and shoulder were sore for a few days afterwards (I didn’t use an electric screwdriver because the instructions just showed a using a Philips screwdriver and the screws were not big so I was afraid I might strip them). There are at least 100 screws. Instructions were great. I love everything about this fireplace cabinet (good storage on both sides of firebox). It’s sturdy, beautiful, and the quality is exceptional. The flame is very realistic. The flame and heat are adjustable with a remote. I highly recommend this electric fireplace!! ... show more

    • Just what I was looking for!

Was skeptical about ordering a product that was listed as an Amazon suggestion, but I read some reviews and looked at some pictures posted and thought why not? First, it was packaged very well. Was concerned that it might be cracked or worse, yet all pieces there intact and the instructions were very easy to follow. Lots of preparation time on each piece but definitely worth doing correctly in order for the unit to come out nice. One drawback: you need to be extremely careful with tightening the screws as sometimes they would not catch in the predrilled holes and in tightening them, I did crack a bit around the area but thank goodness it is not on noticeable areas. Also heating unit was a little tricky because it takes those 6 little screws to secure to the front and I kept dropping those suckers! All said and done, turned the fireplace feature and the heater on last night (it was chilly in So California) and after reading how to control via remote and the panel it was perfect! Also surprised at how quiet the actual fan is on the unit (was a bit worried as I had read other reviews on other similar items and that seemed to be a big no to some people). Honestly cant wait to take down the old TV stand (very big and bulky) and put this unit in its placed and once back from a trip in mid November start putting up Christmas items in the front room and turning on the fireplace to get that cozy feeling of Yule tide cheer! Hopefully it will last as long as our other TV stand has and the furnace unit wont draw too many amps and last just as long. Overall I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice piece to complement their room. We live in an old farm type house built in 1901 and our front room is about 400 sq ft. If the unit lasts, it will keep us toasty for years to come. ... show more
