Pleasantly surprised with the performance and quiet operation this rotor. Paired with ACDelco 17D1414CH Professional Ceramic Front Disc Brake Pad Set, replaced the PowerStop Z23 kit that had rotor run out when hot. The pad to rotor surface wear is consistent across the rotors surface, same color, no streaks or splotches. Much better than the OEM and the PowerStops that were used previously. Disassembled the calipers, cleaned thoroughly with a wire bush and brake clean free from any corrosion and any debris. Greased pad slots, guide pins and pad backing with synthetic brake grease. Assure the pads slide freely within the guides. Performed a typical pad bed in procedure. There's a lot of value in the outcome of any brake job in the preparation and cleanliness of the caliper and pad mating surfaces. The pad should move freely and easily within the guides. Results are consistent braking, free of any vibration, with very little dust. Brakes perform well even after repeated hard stops. After 6k miles on pads and rotors, I would purchase them again. ... show more

These rotors are slightly more expensive than some others but leaps and bounds better in the quality department. Put these on my 2011 F150 and they were better than the factory Ford parts on the truck. Quality machining, finish and balance. I sold that truck a week ago and I might buy a set of these for my new 2020 just to keep on hand. Never know when you may not be able to get parts down the road.If you have a vehicle you plan on keeping, I suggest stocking up on wear items like this. Get the pads too and keep em in your garage for when it's time. You won't have to wait for parts or run to the local store to buy inferior parts. ... show more

The original rotors on my 2013 F150 XLT were all grooved up from the time I bought the truck two years ago. I posted pics of the old and new for comparison. Heavy duty stuff and a perfect fit. I matched them up with an ACDelco 17D1414CH Professional Ceramic Front Disc Brake Pad Set. After a few runs to bed them in, they felt very grippy and are totally quiet. The old rotors were rusted stuck hard to the hubs and were a bear to get off. There wasn't a hammer big enough and I finally had to get bolts to run through the two threaded holes with an impact wrench to force them off. Install on the other hand was a breeze. ... show more

These seem like a nice high-quality rotor. They were packed in a sealed bag covered in China oil like any tool from harbor freight, but it wiped right off with some brake cleaner. I installed these to replace my factory rotors at 17k miles due to some minor warping which I believed was at least partially caused by a failure in the electric brake system on my travel trailer last season. I installed new ac delco professional ceramic pads with these rotors. I know this is unrelated, but I did the brake job at the same time that I installed new Bilstein struts, which have made a noticeable difference up front. ... show more

    • Doesnt ship well
These were the best priced decent quality set of rotors I could find. However, they shipped them only in the manufacturers box.. which got destroyed by the time I got it. These rotors are big at about 25lbs each. The rotors looked like they fell out of the box and onto the ground a few times. There were scuff marks and gouges. Looked like decent rotors, but they should ship inside another shipping box, not just the manufacturers cheap shelf box. Going to try Rockauto, they were a little more expensive and will take a couple days longer to get, but they package the rotors correctly for shipping! ... show more

    • Nicely painted and smooth stopping
Used these on a 2013 F-150. It saved time since I did not have to paint the rotor. It has been a few months and the paint is still staying strong and looking great. Being in south Florida, they get hot and cold and wet nearly everyday. Not sure how they would do in the snow and salt, but so far very impressed. I broke them in and have done about 10k miles with towing large trailers and still nice and smooth. ... show more

    • Defective rotor but great customer service.
Bought 2 of these and at least one of the them was defective. There wasn't any physical damage to the boxes and nor was there noticable defects on the rotors themselves. When I hit the brakes it felt like my truck was going to shake apart. I pulled them off and checked the install, put them back together and got the same result. I've installed lots of rotors over the years and these are the first new ones I've ever had problems with. I needed them right away so I ended up having them resurfaced which helped. I contacted amazon customer service and they were great! They sent me replacement rotors and didn't have me send the original ones back. 5 stars for customer service but 1 star for my lost time the added hassle. ... show more

I installed these onto my 2013 F-150 platinum with a set of oem pads. I came from a much more aggressive set of pads and rotors from a different brand. I was happy with the last sets performance but very expensive. These rotors are priced nice and feel really good. Fitment was perfect. Paired really nicely with an oem set of pads. ... show more
