I bought this product as I was recently divorced and staying in a friend's large she shed. They ran on propane and I didn't want to use up any of that so I purchased this heater fireplace. The time to put it together was reasonable for the size. Took me appx 1.5 hours (I didn't have a drill to screw in the screws at the time, that was my next purchase 😁). I got it all together and turned it on and it didn't work 😭. I called Amazon up and they shipped me an entirely new one. Needless to say at that point I hadn't ordered the drill and really didn't want to disassemble one and reassemble another. So, per Amazon approval, I just swapped out the heating portion as that was one of the last things to be put in when assembling. Now that I have a functional heater it was time to put it to the test. Hands down the best I have ever encountered! Love the timed function and the different fireplace lighting features. The noise is very minimal. It heated the she shed VERY well. This is a sturdy well built piece of furniture. The doors lined up perfect the 1st time. The hinges function perfectly as a springed hinge. Now it has been 3 years and I live in a house vs a she shed. I still use this heater. It will heat my living/dinning room area in no time at all. And it is super cute and functional in any living space I currently have a 50 inch TV on it. Oh ... It is also super nice when I want to have a "cozy" or "romantic" evening as the fireplace can function without having the heat function on. ... show more

    • Just what I was looking for!

Was skeptical about ordering a product that was listed as an Amazon suggestion, but I read some reviews and looked at some pictures posted and thought why not? First, it was packaged very well. Was concerned that it might be cracked or worse, yet all pieces there intact and the instructions were very easy to follow. Lots of preparation time on each piece but definitely worth doing correctly in order for the unit to come out nice. One drawback: you need to be extremely careful with tightening the screws as sometimes they would not catch in the predrilled holes and in tightening them, I did crack a bit around the area but thank goodness it is not on noticeable areas. Also heating unit was a little tricky because it takes those 6 little screws to secure to the front and I kept dropping those suckers! All said and done, turned the fireplace feature and the heater on last night (it was chilly in So California) and after reading how to control via remote and the panel it was perfect! Also surprised at how quiet the actual fan is on the unit (was a bit worried as I had read other reviews on other similar items and that seemed to be a big no to some people). Honestly cant wait to take down the old TV stand (very big and bulky) and put this unit in its placed and once back from a trip in mid November start putting up Christmas items in the front room and turning on the fireplace to get that cozy feeling of Yule tide cheer! Hopefully it will last as long as our other TV stand has and the furnace unit wont draw too many amps and last just as long. Overall I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice piece to complement their room. We live in an old farm type house built in 1901 and our front room is about 400 sq ft. If the unit lasts, it will keep us toasty for years to come. ... show more

    • Love the finished product! CAUTION: VERY HEAVY BOX

Box may be 150 lbs, and I can leg press close to that, but I could not pull it up my porch stairs on a hand cart (the last step being an inch higher than the rest), without hearing my back have a HUGE pop and going to Urgent Care. Please don’t be as foolish as I was - have someone help you get it in the house! Or open the box outside, and bring it in in smaller boxes (3) or open those boxes and bring the pieces in on their own. I will add that I am an older woman, so a larger man could probably pull that up without issue, but just be aware. (btw, after X-rays, It ended up just being a serious muscle strain - though not sure what the pop was.) When I checked the parts, I was missing a bracket. I called the number on the insert flyer and they were prompt to answer and quickly gathered my information. They told me it would take 14 business days, but the part(s) arrived in only 2 business days (Priority Mail). And they sent ALL hardware again rather than just the piece I was missing. That was going above and beyond. Who knows - it may come in handy. I was able to put it together (on pain killers the next day), slowly but surely. Altogether, I would say it took me, by myself, 3 hours, and I was slow. Everything fit perfectly and it feels very well-made. I had none of the issues others have had - no scratches, instructions were clear. Here are the things I like about it: β–ͺ Very well-packed boxes - everything was packed snugly for minimal movement during shipping β–ͺ Cutouts in the back cardboard behind the cupboards for cables (can be seen in one or more of my pictures) β–ͺ An additional slot shaped into the 2nd level for cables (the shelf your media players sit on) VERY handy for hiding any sign of cables! β–ͺ Lots of space behind the fireplace insert to tuck extra cables (the insert is not very deep at all - thus leaving the space behind it) β–ͺ Cupboards with doors that hide clutter like batteries, remotes, DVDs, spare cables, etc. β–ͺ Realistic-looking flames - nice for ambience β–ͺ Remote control for the fireplace with lots of settings and temperature control - has great fan output β–ͺ Very well-made construction β–ͺ Looks very good Things I don’t like: β–ͺ Corners are a little scratchy and if wearing something nice, could catch and ruin the clothing β–ͺ Would have given 4 stars because of quality control not catching the missing part, but added another .5 stars for such prompt delivery of the part, so rounded up to 5 Additional helpful dimensions not included in description (see my photos): β–ͺ Media player shelf: ~15” D x ~5” H (excludes minimal additional height on other side of lip) β–ͺ Cupboard: ~14” D x 18.5” H x ~13” W (depth goes to inner edge of door for closure; width does not include full inner width - only the width for fitting an object through the opening; Height is total height without shelf) β–ͺ Cupboard shelf heights: ~8.5”, or ~9.75”, or ~11” I've now had it for six months, and the grandkids love turning on the flames (but without heat for the summer!), and I haven't had any problems and still love how it looks and feels in my home. ... show more
