Product was exactly as stated, came with all parts necessary to replace immediately, including 2 tools for tightening tank bolts simultaneously (recommended highly and only tighten as much as you can with tool to avoid cracking, and don't worry if there is ever so slight space between the tank and bowl itself). Looks good and works perfect! I might add I checked with manufacturer to assure I ordered the proper tank to fit bowl which they gave me by part number, as it turns out none of the bowls from my local stores carried the specific model for replacements ( though they had many, and which is how I found the product here at Amazon as I never really thought to look here and previous searches only brought up toilet tank parts for amazon until I entered the part number itself, and still called back to double check as it was slightly different than listed. ... show more

My tank developed a crack but the base was still in perfect condition. I could not find an exact replacement tank for my 4215A toilet and I had to call American Standard corporate to ask about possible replacements. This came with the tank (including fill and flush valve pre-installed), new tank lid and gasket (everything you need to swap out with your existing tank). I would highly recommend as a replacement for discontinued toilet tanks (obviously confirm that it is compatible first). ... show more

Just bought this new from Amazon, no fault to Amazon but this is the worst quality I have ever seen. American Standard standards have sure dropped in the years. the tank is deformed with scraps and gouges, they don't paint the back side thus it is exposed to the climate and increases the risk of deteriorating prematurely. Can not get the tank level with the base section, in the past tanks and bases had rubber seats to keep it level, this tank has nothing, just the two bolts and a crappy green gasket which goes between the the base and tank. The tank is small and just doesn't look right on such a large base, which this is the required tank for this base, a Champion Pro oblong. The guts are all plastic and mine came with the flush assembly handle bent inside severely where as it doesn't flush properly. If I had to do it over I would had left my old toilet, unfortunity I disposed of it before I realized that this one is basically junk. Huge disappointment and Amazon preferred to just refund a few bucks rather than replacing the whole thing. A.S. said it was back ordered and may not be available for a few months. I absolutely love this toilet!!! It has a huge gushing flush due to that oversized 4" valve at the bottom, even though it uses so much less water. Great engineering! Also it was an easy installation for a do-it-yourselfer (me). You cannot possibly go wrong with this American Standard superstar!!!
