They just arrived, and I just tried them for the first time. They look beautiful and feel pretty light. I ordered a 10.5-wide pair. The box says 10.5 wide, the paper tag hanging from the shoelace hole says 10.5 wide, but the sewn tag on the tongue of the shoe just says 10.5, and I wonder if these are indeed 10.5 wide or just 10.5. They don't feel wide enough. The inner sole of the shoe is foam, and I can feel it getting compressed. I believe they will give enough room for my feet to feel pretty comfortable, but right now, they are not. Reebok should rethink their sewn tag. I am not going to return them; I will give them some time. The sole of the shoe is very hard (what I was looking for) and provides good support. The sides feel hard and not stretchy at all, too. I am heavy; this might be the right choice for me. By the way, do you see that beautiful dark red glow on the tongue and the shoelaces? It's only visible in low light!

I've had heel pain off and on for years. I took a chance on these for work. They have helped a lot. I'm still limping around after work but the pain while at work is much better, more tolerable. They may work great for someone with less mileage on their feet than mine. For what I paid, totally worth a try. I may buy another pair if I can't find something better. The shoes feel odd at first. The sole is convex, which is weird and stiff feeling, especially when driving. Foot has slipped off the pedals because I can't really feel where my foot placement is. While walking, there is a strange sort of feeling like you're walking in sand. You get used to it, sorta. They also make noise while walking on hard floors, like a hard sole shoe does. They seem to be holding up just fine, as compared to other brands I've used at work. I swapped out the insoles right away, which also helped but I didn't realize there was adhesive on the insoles until I pulled them out. Got half way and pretty much destroyed the insoles that came in the shoe, which were rather thin anyway. If you're suffering with heel or other foot pain, I'd recommend trying these out if the price is right.

I first became acquainted with Reebok DMX while I was working and had to be on my feet 8 hours a day. Fast forward a few years and after my heart attack I was under doctors orders to walk daily. At first I used another brand that was more expensive but worked fine. When time came to replace them I decided to try the DMX again. I immediately could tell the difference between the DMX and the other shoes. The DMX was much heavier and I tired more quickly. They are comfortable with a cushiony insole and were it not from the weight I would wear them but anyone serious about walking 2 miles or more a day might want to look at a lighter shoe.

You are always walking on air. Large stable air bags in front and back with a transmission tube between them that circulates the air as you walk. Have allowed me to walk 50 miles a week for 20 years. Even when the air bags flatten out after about 200 miles, the shoes still look and feel like a new pair of normal shoes. But for the first 200 miles these are not normal shoes. Your feet never touch the ground, you walk only on stable, comfortable air.

These shoes feel different from every other pair that I've worn in my life. It's honestly hard to describe but it somehow manages to be firm yet bouncy. They are unlike the overly squishy feeling you get from a lot of skechers. They are great at shock absorption and make walking extremely comfortable. My one complaint is the ankle support in the back seems a bit high but it's not a deal breaker and is only really noticeable when sitting. It's not as noticeable when you are walking.
