    • Good toilet. Poor fill valve design.
Update (10/26/20) - Submitted a complaint to the manufacturer regarding the fill valve. They sent a replacement. It is a slightly different design (no charge). The problem is resolved. Just installed a day ago. The toilet itself is fine. Comfortable, and standard toilet install. The problem is the fill valve. Before purchasing saw some reviews that said it didn’t seat right and leaked. Figured was isolated and a defective part. Now, multiple random times tens with the same problem suggests a design flaw. Somehow the float does give enough pressure on the arm to fully seat the valve. So, there is a really slight, very quiet leak. Have sent an e-mail to American Standard. Will see if I get “It must be the customer’s fault” story, or some other goofy explanation. Clearly there is a design flaw. The question is whether the manufacturer will acknowledge it and correct it, or come up with some lame excuse. Time will tell. ... show more

I like everything about this toilet except the color. Like another reviewer noted, the color is not a pure white, more like an alabaster or an off white. Had to take a star off for this, it's a little misleading in the description. Not too worried about it, it's installed in a rental unit. The American Standard low profile toilet looked and fitted in the opening great ! The only issue was the toilet flush valve developed a small crack and I had to replace it within 3 moths of use ! I did not send it back has it was too much hassle for $10 part ! Still disappointed the plastic valve unit failed ! ... show more

We have not had the item that long, but it seems to be working as it should. The only thing is the color is not a bright white like our sink, it has an almond cast to it.

This is a nice looking toilet, streamlined, contemporary but comfortable. The waterflow seems great and it cleans the bowl nicely with each flush. This is my second purchase of this brand and model.
