This is as advertised, 2 different layers of firmness. For us the top was too soft, but flipping it and reversing the cover (zips off easily) is perfect for support & comfort for 2 in our camper for 2 seniors with back problems. We sleep better & it's odor free.

I have to say, I am quite surprised at how comfortable this mattress is! Usually for a mattress at this price point, I would have very little expectations of it being comfortable but this mattress was a sweet surprise. After opening the package, I made sure to pull on the cover/sides so it wasn't sticking to the foam inside and then let the mattress set untouched for 72 hours to regain it's shape. I also added a 2" memory foam topper and a waterproof zip-closed mattress protector to it but truthfully, if I hadn't already had the topper from my previous mattress, it would've still been fine. I purchased this item for my older 1983 Class C RV, which I live in full-time, and it fits perfectly. I was having such a hard time trying to find an affordable 3/4 full or 48"x75" mattress until finding this one. Thank you for making such a wonderful and affordable mattress! I really love it and would order again if ever in need of another.

bought this for my sons loft bed. I took it out of the package and it smelled like chemicals but the smell went away within a day of sitting in a room with the window open one of the edges didn't completely fluff up but my son didn't seem to concerned about it he went from a toddler bed that he would constantly toss and turn in to this bed that he slept still which is weird for him so it must be comfortable i layer on it all 140 lbs of me and it was comfortable I didn't feel the bars underneath. I would recommend this bed especially for the price

I bought this for my vintage camper about 3 weeks ago. I went camping for 4 days in middle of nowhere and was able to use this mattress the whole time I was there. It was exactly what I expected and was extremely comfortable. No issues sleeping and was very cushiony. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality and comfortable mattress.

This mattress sleeps cool, which is nice since we have it in a camper with no A/C. It feels more like med than Med firm, to be honest, but I'm ok with that. It fit great as we ordered the camper/short queen. When I unpackaged, it was at the full 6 inches within an hour, maybe an hour and a half. The smell was not overpowering. If people say things like, it smells horrible, or it didn't expand, either they leave it in the package too long, or they're fussy, and nothing will make them happy.

I was pleased to be able to find a non-standard sized (48" x 75") mattress. I read through all the reviews and decided to go with this one, and just hope it wasn't going to be too firm (or have lingering smell issues that some reviews spoke of). It arrived much quicker than expected and after 2 days of airing it outside, we put it to use. I did measure it after it expanded to be able to comment in my review and it is about a half inch shorter in all directions than it should be, but with memory foam that is probably the norm. After a few nights, my daughter (10 years old) is able to report that she finds it firm, but very comfortable and there's no chemical smell complaint either. Very pleased with the purchase over all.

Bought this last May. Started out great, nice and comfy. Now not so much. My boyfriend wakes several times through the night due to body aches and stiffness; and when. He wakes for the day, he can barely move. His back is constantly screwed up and his neck and shoulders hurt constantly from this mattress. As for myself, I toss and turn most of the night trying to get even remotely comfortable and I never do. I am a side sleeper and I'm in so much pain, my hips constantly hurt and my back is always tweaked and sore and usually so messed up that I can't catch a full breath without a spasm of pain. This mattress is definitely not a medium firm mucess a firm... It has zero support. I could go on and on, but I figure you get the problem! Save your money and buy something better. Trust me, don't get stuck like me! I'm having to buy another mattress when I just bought this in May 2020!
