It's so light, I could push it up inclines easier than with my previous, gas powered mower. Quiet, affordable, beautifully simple in it's design, except for the blade and reel which I'm too simple to understand. Some sorta gears down there? It does not jam as easily, even with wet grass, and when it does jam, it clears with a quick lift or reverse. Assembly requires some arm and chest strength, like maybe 40-50 lb force? This is to insert the handle into the blade thingie. It took about 15 minutes to put together, there's under a dozen parts. Good workout too, I should get some savory gains in my forearms. Recovering from a broken shoulder, I really needed to get my lawn mowed. But my traditional gas powered lawn mower is way too strong for me to handle my current condition. So after much research, this is the lawn mower that I chose. And I really really like it! It was easy to put together and beyond being easy to use. I was surprised how little effort it takes to push. I also really enjoy being outside, mowing my lawn, and being able to enjoy the experience without this intense motor sound of a traditional mower. Absolute garbage, save your money and your time. My first order came missing most of the pieces because they clearly shoved a return into an ill-fitting box. The replacement finally came in the appropriate packaging with all the pieces, but is as effective at cutting grass as a pool noodle. It literally just pushes the grass over without cutting it, and simultaneously manages to get grass wrapped and caught around the mechanisms. Completely useless. ... show more

Item works great! I will say that it is mostly easy to put together except when you need to maneuver the handles onto the posts of the bottom part. I had to ask my husband to help with that part since he was able to bend the pieces in enough to snap them into place. There probably is an easier way to have done this? I assumed putting the handle pieces together after maneuvering them into the posts is ideal except that the instructions I received explicitly said not to do that. So my main issue was it was slightly difficult to finish putting together but there are not a lot of steps to it in the first place which is really great. I think this is worth the money because you receive the sharper as well which on Amazon goes for anywhere between $15-$30. You’re basically getting the mower at a much lower price than without the sharpener. It’s also a very cute blue. It does take a lot of elbow grease to operate and maneuver but it’s great for getting your steps in and breaking a sweat. It’s worth it. If you’re unsure whether or not to get it then take this as your sign to do it. And if you’re a smaller framed person, just put the handle pieces together after the holes have already gone through the posts of the base and you’re good. ... show more

Works for small yards. Definitely have to go over spots a couple of times depending on your grass type. Need to be moving pretty fast for it to work as well.

Ordered on 08.30.2025 and never received it. Amazon replaced it, and it finally got here on 09.23 --- taking total of 3 weeks. Nice blue color. Easy to use. It jammed only two times when I used it. I mow my lawn every 5-7 days, typically after sunset when the lawn is dry. My lawn is basically flat. The pics show the effect of this reel mower: ripple, wavy, like an old fashioned washboard. Several blades have bubbles on them. Quality issue but doesn't affect the cut. My lawn does NOT look too good after using this mower and I'm thinking about returning it and stay will my batt-powered rotary mower. ... show more

This mower worked great. I was able to cut my small front and back lawn even though the grass was several inches high and not quite dry due to the recent rainy days.
