  • Have them professionally assembled if you have a choice.
Color: Red Paint
I used one for knick necks and one for a entertainment center. Looks good after assembly, which was not easily done, wrong screws for the job, heads of screws were way too small to hold parts together. I had to purchase new screws and assembly was quicker. Unpainted or chipped paint had to be retouched. I used to assemble furniture so not my first time. I suggest having someone else to assemble these cabinets because they are a hassle if you try to use their parts in the box! ... show more

  • Details all over could have been better
Color: White
The instructions have errors, extra dowels which make you think you missed installing some, and finish is cheap and scratches easily. The picture shows the tightening screws under the bottom board. They are actually on top of the bottom board. They show a mallet for hammering nails; you need to use a regular hammer and be very careful hammering them in as you will put dings on the top that will ruin the look. You really should just use your own screws for the back. The doors do adjust to make them look even, but its not explained how to adjust. First lift up doors before tightening. Then adjust the hinge with phillip screw drive in the odd looking protruding screw. That will even out the doors. Put this project together on top of cardboard unless you have carpeting. A wood floor will scratch up the finish. I ended up taking apart and glued the dowels which made the cabinet feel less cheap. ... show more

  • Looks good and Fits where others would not.
Color: White
This met my need for storage space in a very tight bathroom space. Nobody would mistake it for fine furniture but it looks surprisingly good and all pieces fit perfectly together and produced a sturdy storage space for a few items otherwise part of an unslighly open display. A real bargain.

  • Doors don’t fit right… not worth $137
Color: White
For $137 I was hoping for a better piece of furniture. Not perfect but better. The doors fit crooked and there is a huge gap between them. I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. I’m so disappointed honestly because the pictures make it look like a beautiful piece.

  • Arrived without any damage and looks true to picture
Color: White
Looks exactly like picture. Easy to assemble. Fits perfectly where I intended. It is sturdy and has a wooden middle shelf. Does not have “that” smell. I was able to use right away. White is white. The dimensions are as described. Very lovely. Would purchase again. 12/2022 No change. Cabinet is sturdy and just as lovely as the day I purchased. ... show more

  • Fine Piece of Furniture
Color: White
I’ve rated this Glass Door Cabinet Five Stars. I’ve assembled many of the Cam and Dowel pieces of furniture and this one was exceptional. A truly fine piece of furniture. The painted surfaces were smooth and durable, the illustrated instructions clear and all the parts clearly marked so you can match them up easily with the illustrations. All the hardware is clearly marked with little stickers provided in zip bags.of appropriate sizes. The predrilled holes lined up correctly and assembly went smoothly. A few suggestions for easy assembly. Lay out the cabinet parts as shown in the diagram, preferably on a carpeted surface. Note the lettered part stickers (A, B etc) are discretely on the side of the pieces, so you don’t have to peal them off after assembly. Have a quality Phillips Head and Flat Blade screwdriver that fits the Cam Bolts and Cams properly. It can make the difference between easy assembly and difficult. The shelf has 3 adjustment levels and the pegs on which the shelf sets have little suction cups which prevents the shelf from sliding. There are instructions on the last page on how to adjust the doors. It’s quite easy and following those instructions I was able to get the doors perfectly aligned. I often get good information from Amazon reviews, so I hope this was helpful. ... show more

  • Handsome, solid and worth the money, but with flaws
Color: Red Paint
Just finished assembling it. First the good: The unit and its components are solid. The composite wood is dense and true. The enamel coat is smoothly applied, although there are a few chips here and there. The overall finished appearance is handsome. The instructions are clear, but it is important to pay attention to detail to avoid placing the wrong peg in the wrong hole. Now the bad: For those of us who care, the packaging is an environmental nightmare! Loads of unrecyclable styrofoam to add to the waste-stream. The cabinet doors do not meet nicely in the center of the unit as depicted in the Amazon illustration. There is a 7/16 inch gap. Although it is not noticeable upon casual inspection, the doors are slightly vertically misaligned as the guide holes in the blocks for the hinges are imperfectly predrilled. The assembly instructions depict the use of a rubber mallet to nail the cardboard back panel to the unit. Forget it! The wood is too dense and you'll never drive the nails. The nails are also nigh impossible to drive with a metal hammer (a tribute to the solid composite) and you are likely to ding and dent the surrounding wood in the attempt. I gave up, predrilled guide holes and applied the backing with 1/2 inch panhead screws--don't even bother with the nails. ... show more
