Works perfect for vehicles that use the heater core as a bypass line from factory. My 2014 F150 defaults to “full hot” when in off position so unless you had the a/c on it would allow 200 degree air into the cab via natural induction on a beautiful 70 degree day when you could have the windows down instead, not running compressor and burning fuel. This shuts off the flow and just sends it back. No unwanted heat in the cab which you don’t want in summer anyway. Helps the A/C work better not having a hot air box anyway. ... show more

The 5/8"-3/4" valve worked perfectly on my 06 Silverado to fix hot drivers side cold passenger side issue. I hear to fix the bad blend door is really hard. This was a snap.

Seems well made. Heavy. Has an “W” and “S” marked on it to identify winter or summer mode. Easy install for me on an 81 Chevy C10 truck. Replaced hoses while I was at it. Tucked in nicely on passenger side inner fender well. Screwed to fender well with some pipe hangers. My truck uses the 3/4 x 5/8. I’ll test it this weekend and if anything negative I will update this review. ... show more

Works brilliantly to shut off the hot antifreeze going to the inside of a truck's cab during the summer months. That effectively lowers the AirConditioner's output temperature. When winter comes again, switch it on and the heat feels great!

Valve worked as espected , well made . Only complaint i have is the markings indicating the pattern of flow. It has some sort of symbols on it ,but no paperwork or instructions on how it works . I just blew into the connections to see flow.

Excellent quality! Made out of brass. Installed on my 1997 F-350 7.3L Power Stroke diesel. Hot water by passes heater core in the cab. Air conditioner puts out colder air. It is manually operated by hand.
