  • Great mount!
Reading other reviewers, other folks may have ordered the wrong size mount or received some sort of knock off. I did receive a real deal ADM. I am a big fan of ADM. they make great parts and rifles. I’m fortunate enough to own both and in my experience their machining is as precise as any of the other big name shops. I run a arisaka light with sure fire UE07 pressure switch inside of a cloud defense top picatiny mounted LCS. I also use a C clamp grip when shooting. With standard height mounts, my c clamp, and activating the light puts my thumb in the lower 1/3 of my sight picture. It’s not a huge problem. I can still make hits accurately but, not ideal. So, I started researching the 1.93” height mounts. There are a number of benefits to these. More heads up position and having my optic clear my thumb and light to allow for a full field of view were important to me. This filled both orders and for about half the price of others like Scalarworks and geissele. This mount is sturdy, beefy, and very well made. The QD release is an added bonus and I’ve seen a couple of YouTube videos demonstrating just how precisely the return to zero is if you need to remove the optic for any reason. I’ve had it mounted for a week or so but already put 300-400 hundred hard use rounds through it and nothing has shifted or come loose. this includes rifle to pistol transitions on the move and barricade shooting as well. I wouldn’t expect any quality mount to have any issues this early but this one is no different. Looks good, feels good, and def well made. If I had one complaint, it would be the weight. It is coming in at a big boy 8.4 oz. I was running the Aero Precision light mount which is a slender ~3.2 oz so, I can almost feel every last one of the extra 5.2 oz. Some guys might not notice but as the old saying goes, “ounces make pounds” and adding 1/3 lbs to something you need to hold out in front of you, your shoulder will find it just a little harder to hold steady for 100+ yd shots. I run a few other accessories on the front of my rifle so, the ounces add up quick. Other than that, this mount is great for my purposes and I think it’s as well built as anything from ADM ... show more

  • AMD
The AMD 1.93 mount is the best in its class. These mounts are solid, built with attention to detail, and awesome mounts. Mounts are important in any setup and you get what you pay for in this area. 1.93 brings your head level and in a natural position. Lower mounts I find myself turtle necking trying to find the reticle most times and very uncomfortable. I highly recommend you try one if your on the fence about the height. Awesome mounts! ... show more

  • Great mount for lvpos.
If you're on the fence about a high mount for your lpvo, I would recommend giving it a try. You have to ask yourself though, do I mostly train while standing or kneeling, or do you train from the prone? If you spend most of your time on a bench or prone, get a lower mount. If you stand and move alot the high mount feels more natural and faster, with a liytime for training and adjustment. ... show more

  • Slop
I have a lot of ADM mounts and trust their quality so I am a bit thrown off when I received two mounts, one was used like new and the other new, that are off spec. I have a viper pst gen II and a strike eagle to finish some builds. both mounts have substantial slop/give. I checked that both mounts are 30mm and they are, double checked that my scopes are 30mm and they are and I cannot get the slop to go away. One mount is better than the other and ironically it’s the used like new. Only when I over torque the mount will most of the slop go away. I’m really thrown off by this. Vortex clearly states to not over torque your scope but I have to exceed the 18lb limit that they state in their documents for both scopes. This has to be a one off, a complete fluke but I’m still shaking my head. I will not going to damage my scopes to keep these mounts. ... show more
