  • Best bow site I have
My husband bought this for his bow. He loves it! He said it so much better with the rangefinder built right into it. Some people complained about the battery not lasting but he has had no problem so far

  • Old Missouri Bowhunter
Let me start by saying that even if the Garmin Xero was the same price as the Burris Oracle X, I would choose the Burris in a heartbeat! I like the lower profile of the OracleX. I like the wireless ranging switch. The Garmin has a wired switch. I like the fact that you always have 20 yd. crosshairs even if the battery goes dead. If the battery went dead on the Garmin, you are dead in the water until you replace the battery. The Burris is also a true variable 2 to 7 power scope. Most crossbow scopes are fixed once you set the speed dial. I like this because I prefer low magnification when hunting, yet it’s nice to be able to crank up the magnification when target shooting or sighting in at longer distances. When I first looked through the scope and turned the eye piece, it quickly came in to focus and I was amazed at sharpness and clarity. The Oracle X also compensates for up and down hill shots and has built in level indicating led’s. Truing is simple once you learn the menu button sequences and the scope ranges distance very quickly. Much faster than my hand held laser rangefinder. One of the best features is the Burris lifetime no questions asked warranty. As a retired electrical engineering technician and 50 year bowhunter, I can’t think of a single improvement I would make to the Oracle X. It is truly the ultimate crossbow scope. ... show more

  • Ballistics calculator isn’t tunable enough
Get the Garmin and save the headache if you have a good xbow. The ballistics curve on this does not work. You could shoot it lights out at 30 but once you try to fix your 50 yard shots it will ruin your 30 yard zero and you will end up chasing it until you decide to get the Garmin x1i. That’s what I did and love the Garmin scope. All my ranges and hits are bull eyes. I’d never settle for this. Burris was never as accurate as my stock glass scope. ... show more

  • Game changer
Real expensive but worth every penny. Wish I bought this before. No need to carry a separate range finder and keep switching between range finder and scope as the target moves. The accuracy is unreal and the option that makes your old shot blink while you zero this thing is simply brilliant. You can zoom for better closer shots and the aiming dot automatically compensates and moves as you zoom. Looks larger than it really is and is lighter in weight than my regular scope. The wireless trigger is also an amazing innovation and great useful tool that I placed with easy access with my trigger finger to range while looking thru the scope. I’m in love ... show more

  • Nice scope and got a deal.
This has been great. Got a good price on an open box unit last hunting season. Its a little bulky but nothing that is a show stopper. Using it on an Excalibur Mag 340. Held up good last season using only one battery. I know some had issues with battery life. Nice clear view through the scope. Only drawback is the battery cap! ... show more

  • WOW
Got this scope to put on a new Amped 425 crossbow that bought. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. It is definitely a game changer. I shoot really tight groups at a 100 yards. I have already harvested some deer that I wouldn’t have had a chance to harvest if I had to range the target with my range finder then get the crossbow on target then it would be leaving before I could get a clean ethecle shot off. With the Oricle X I get the scope on target and press a button on the remote control that I zip tied in front of my trigger well and the scope ranges the target, automatically adjust the reticle and squeeze off the shot. All in less than 2 seconds. I’m totally spoiled now. The Oricle X is expensive but the lifetime warranty, box it up and send to Burris and they fix or replace, no questions asked. That is the way every company should be! ... show more
