I originally bought this for a Ruger 10/22, but I wound up only using the red dot on the 1022 and not the magnifier because you have to get your eye very very close to the magnifier to be able to get a good view and just the way the 1022 is set up you can't really get your face that close to the magnifier. It’s exactly what you would expect from Sig - great quality and works like a champ! This is really designed for CQC or maybe target acquisition out to maybe 50 yards with the Juliet engaged. What I love is that it is easy to switch from g to g. I have it on a carbine and also AR platforms.
