DON’T!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t buy this boat. I ordered this boat in hope being able to register it at the BMV, which was not possible because Amazon did not send any title or other paperwork with it. Since two weeks, I try to send this boat back and nobody is responsible. I talked several times to very friendly associates from Amazon, pick ups were scheduled, but so far nothing worked. I was called by Mearsk To let me know that my schedule today would not work for them and they also could not promise me 100% to take the boat anyway because normally they don’t take items like that they say. Everybody who is interested can see all the emails and all transfer between me, Amazon and Mearsk. Just contact me and I will send you all the transactions/Communication emails. • perfect boat for fishing
perfect boat for fishing. feels a little unstable at first but once you are used to it its not actually that unstable. Have had 2 people plus gear in it with no issues, just cant make any sudden turns around in the seat. Ive also stood up in the boat no issues while fishing. All around great boat, very lightweight easy for 1 person to drag right down to the water in grass, would just be careful of rocks etc scratching the bottom ... show more

  • Great puddle jumper
Decent small water boats. These are two pieces of plastic sandwiched together. There is a non water tight seam around the top rail which will allow some water into the hull even when upside down and stored outside. It's not much, and there is a drain plug to empty it. I added quick release seats and find it very comfy for fishing by myself and possibly with another person. I havnt put an outboard on it yet but the transom and benches have wood reinforcement. I rigged mine with a Scotty mount up front for the quick release anchor, and some side mounts as the pre installed rod holders are not the greatest. I like it though it's easy to toss into the water and go. I like that it's plastic and much quieter than my aluminum boat and stays cooler as well. I got a pretty good deal on them, don't buy from way-fair they advertised a price then would not send it as they said they mis marked it. Amazon came through though and honored the price. ... show more

  • good value, lower quality expected
Good for the money spent. This is a value item, but has some flaws, sides bow out when stored bottom up or tilted, water gets in between two layers in rough water or if stored outside, but there is a plug to empty. Plug for exterior bottom will only empty little area behind back seat not entire boat, floor does not feel stable, piece of PT plywood helped. Little more width would go long ways. Good to throw on back of truck for two guys on a calm lake or pond. ... show more

  • Rowing With One Oar
I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I strongly recommend against others making the same mistake. 1. This plastic boat is very easily damaged by dragging it up onto a boat ramp in order to board. This is mostly due to the poor design of the stiffners, which go outward from the boat. The similar Pelican boat has stiffners that go inward, which keeps them from being damaged. 2. I had to build an elaborate support for launching and storing this boat due to the easily damaged plastic design. Not worth the effort for this cheaply designed boat which will not last long with modest usage. 3. The boat is very unstable from side to side (tippy) due to being 36 inches wide on the bottom, too flexible, and lightweight. Very difficult and dangerous for two people to exchange seating positions. 4. The transom is too flexible for 6 HP. With my 6 1/2 HP long tail motor, the transom flexes several inches at times, which makes me think it's about to break. I would suggest 3 HP maximum for this boat, which means it will not plane. 5. One of the oarlocks of my boat was missing the upper plastic bushing. I contacted the manufacturer, who shipped me replacement oarlocks. Upon trying to loosen the oarlock mounting screws, and finding that after loosening them slightly, they will not come out, feeling like there is a nut that is turning that is not accessible by wrench, I contacted the manufacturer again. They told me that the oarlocks are not replaceable. You need to drill out the screws and then use pop rivets through plastic since the wooden bloack with the nuts beneath will fall down into the inside of the boat. If they had shipped me only the missing bushing, I could have replaced it easily. Now, after trying to replace the oarlock, the screws are loose so that it flexes with each stroke and cannot be tightened, and will fail in short order. They told me to contact Amazon about replaceing the entire boat due to this oarlock issue. This is an extremely bad design. The cheaply made oarlocks with plastic bushings will require frequent replacement. 6. The transom is too thick for many outboard motors. I have a 3 HP Evinrude that will barely clamp onto this transom due to it's great thickness. For being so thick, you'd think it would be stiff, but it's very flexible, like full of rubber? It has a 1/4 inch thick rubber pad front and back which I don't think is needed. I don't like the transom design. 7. On the positive side, the boat interior is well designed for fishing. My 6 1/2 HP Predator Long Tail motor planes this boat at 12 mph with 2, 200 lb. men on board which is good performance for this type boat with so much weight. ... show more

  • Perfect for me and hubby
I bought this boat as a Christmas gift for my husband. It is perfect for us because we are able to pick it up and carry it. The Flolrida Tag office was a bit confused on how to title and register but after 45 min they were able to hand us our registration decal and we were out the door. Just be sure to completely fill out the purchaser paperwork with boat details before going to registration office and bring the shipping docs with you for additional supporting documentation. We can store the boat at our house (no strorage fees) and the width of the boat fits perfectlly in the back of our 1998 Dodge Durango. We use tie downs to secure the over hang, close and tie down the hatch, stuff an old red t-shirt in the anchor bracket and we are good to go. We purchased some Atwood folding seats and mounted them to the removable swivel bracket that attaches to the bench and we can sit back and relax while fishing. This light boat is easy to row but we did attach an electric troll motor to the rear of the boat for greater ease of moving. Love spending time on the water with my husband and puppy. ... show more
