I’m impressed!! Many reviews complained about this being too heavy, which is what I wanted, so I’m thrilled I ordered it. It’s not a cheap, lightweight, discount store, velour throw. This throw is exceptionally well made. It is heavy but not overly. The ribbing is only on the front. The back has a beautiful, tastefully plush backing, same ivory color. I loved the fact that when I opened it, I was wearing black slacks, yet no lint or fuzzies stuck to me. As far as the IVORY color, I would call it light beige or dark cream. Ivory should be more off-white. It was vacuum packaged but fluffed up right away. Wrinkles disappeared the first day. I haven’t washed it yet, but if there are any issues in the washer or dryer, I’ll update my post. ... show more

This is a gorgeous blanket. I purchased last winter to keep in the car. It is now in our blanket chest and looking forward to putting it in our spare room for guests. This is the nicest throw/blanket I have purchased. I have three others. Very soft and fairly heavy.

When I bought it, I thought it was a heated throw since that was what I was searching, however, I am not sure whether that is Amazon’s fault or the seller’s. It is a common issue in search results and it is my fault for not looking more closely before ordering. When I got it, I ended up deciding to keep it anyway since I liked it. It is a pretty heavy throw blanket and the fabric feels luxurious. It washes and dries well. In fact, it feels like it did when it was brand new in spite of it being washed/dried. Sometimes faux fur gets gnarly in the dryer. My one gripe, and tbh, it’s fairly substantial is that the top and bottom layers aren’t tacked together. So except for the stitching around the edges that hold the pieces together, there is nothing that keeps the top and bottom from slipping and sliding around. It is like a huge unstuffed pillow made of heavy fabric. It is warm, cozy and pretty, though! ... show more
