We already have a couple of throw blankets from this seller, Amelie, and we all love everything about them. This is a lightweight throw in sage green that comes in several more colors and is flawlessly made just like the others we have. No matter what Amelie offers for sale, I love it. This is a chenille throw that's made of polyester and is beautifully made. The reverse side of the throw, which I love. One side, what you see in the listing picture, is a classic waffle knit and the other is made of stylish knit elegant ribbed stripes. The blanket arrives vacuum packed but fluffs out nicely in a couple of days. It does come with a white ribbon around it, so it would make a wonderful gift for anyone, and you could send this straight from Amazon to the recipient to save yourself time. I was happy to see this throw blanket, which also comes in larger sizes, is machine washable, cold water, gentle cycle, and can be tumble dried on low. Everything's easy to do with this throw blanket, and I'd love to have this in a queen size blanket for our bed. Right now, my biggest problem is a yellow Labrador eyeing this throw blanket and thinking how he really needs it more than we do. I love all the products I've ordered from this company, Amelie for Home, and I highly recommend this beautiful throw blanket, which is reversible and, like all the products I've ordered from Amelie for Home, very well made. This comes in several other colors and would make a wonderful gift for anyone, either for a birthday or Christmas gift or as a just-because gift.

This blanket is great! It is soft, comfy-cozy, reversible, neutrally attractive, and very large. I was suprised to find that though slightly bulky with good loft, it is actually comfortably lightweight when used. I expected to find it too warm to sleep with (and better as just a throw), but it breathes well and I napped under it just fine. This is a large blanket, so it works easily on a bed or as a living room throw. Given the size, comfort, and quality, I'd say it is a fair value for the price. Some details: -I love that you can switch between either the waffle knit side or rib knit. -The beige with ivory trim is neutral and verstatile so it would suit many decor themes...if you want something with more pop, there are other colors to choose from as well. -It does not shed lint everywhere like some chenille does and the stitching seems fine. -The fabric is OEKO-TEX certified which adds to peace of mind for textile safety. -It has nice loft and is super soft, but breathes better than thick chenille often does. Note it does not fold up small due to the size and loft. -It washed just fine on a cold wash cycle and low heat tumble dry in the dryer.

There was always a stack of knitted blankets in the corner or my parents living room. This stack that is placed inside a large whicker basket contraption and has changed over the years, but still remains a living room standard. While most of those blankets were knitted by my mother; there was also the occasional random store bought variation in there as well. The knitted blankets had a special softness to them that i have rarely seen duplicated in other forms until now. This super soft medium sized blanket from the Amélie brand; is the most realized replication that home made blanket feeling. While there are no large fabric knots made from knitting there is a smaller type of chenille weaving that is like a less elaborate take on that traditional style. There is a machine design look to this which i like because it is more like a fusion of a machine/ home made blanket look. This then seems like a good compromise because i know in starting my own blanket stack i can't physically knit them. This Amélie Home brand therefrom really gives you that feeling, like it could have been created while sitting out on the porch, enjoying the summer weather. I like the grey color because it matches the room i will be using this in. The price is not too bad for the quality material used. I am super happy with this blanket and am giving it five stars; because it have a feeling it will be around for many years.

I have a couple of these waffle type blankets. And they all work just fine and have that classic look and feel to them. This one is no different and it's pretty soft. The advantage to this one is it actually has a different design on each side. This is a unique twist on a classic blanket. I really like this one because of that. I did wash it and run it through the dryer to see how much fuzz would come off of it for the first time. I was surprised that there was very little. In general, if you get a bunch of fuzz in the dryer, that's a telling sign the blanket isn't going to last very long. This one barely produced any fuzz. So I would guess this one will last quite some time. Well worth the money if you ask me.
