This rug/blanket smells incredibly bad. I might hang it outside to try and get some of the smell out. It's not a true rug. That's why I'm calling it a rug/blanket. It's like a blanket with a rubber backing on it. It's very light weight and wrinkly like a blanket. I don't believe the wrinkles are going to come out on their own and I haven't figured out how to get them out. I might just end up using this as a blanket. Very disappointed. UPDATE: I hung it outside for a day. The smell came out completely and the majority of the wrinkles are gone after 2 days. It is lying flat. Feels good under your feet, soft and thick. I am liking this much better today. I would recommend if you don't mind getting rid of the smell and waiting for the wrinkles to flatten out. ... show more

So I was expecting a large package since I got the larger sized carpet but the carpet comes folded up into a square and then vacuum sealed to really shrink it down. The upside to this is that the box the carpet comes in is much smaller then you would think. Downside (not really a true downside) is that you have to wait 24-48 hours till it fully expands and the creases go away. I bought this in June and wanted to check put the durability before reviewing. Nice rug but not meant to be walked on daily. The fibers get squish into a matted lump.
