Works great, good value but the fans are running non-stop
Overall, it's a good value (relatively) for what you get, if you need ~120GB of ram in a single system this is probably your cheapest option. It's not nearly as fast as a DGX Spark or a Mac Studio and the overall experience isn't as nice, but it gets the job done and most of the issues can be solved in software (AMD Sync is way behind NV Sync). Setup is easy and painless, and you get a very nice out-of-box-experience to get you started with AI. My biggest issue is the cooling is bad, then fans seem to be running non-stop for no reason and the system is ice cold. So, the fans are going all the time and they're just loud enough to be annoying if you're in a small office with them. Maybe this can be fixed in software with a better thermal profile.

Possibly restocked sold as new, shipped without care
AMD Ryzen AI Halo Developer Platform, sold by Micro Center through Amazon. The unit was ordered as NEW, but the product packaging appears to have been previously opened or restocked. There is no intact factory seal/cellophane, and the inner box/packaging is torn. The unit was also shipped by Amazon in an outer box approximately five times larger than the product box with no protective padding, allowing the product box containing expensive and delicate electronics to move freely inside during shipping.
