  • Runs Cool & Crazy Fast After Tuning Runs Cool & Crazy Fast After Tuning

Got lucky with the silicon on this chip — absolute beast once you dial it in. I’ve got it running with an all-core CO at -30, no boost override, and stability is flawless. Also tweaked VCORE SOC and VDDG CCD/IOD in BIOS to keep memory and fabric happy, which made a huge difference. Temps stay cool even under full load thanks to a custom Corsair loop, and no crashes or throttling anywhere. Easy to install, compatible with X870 mobos and the power consumption top tier. Handles everything I throw at it — gaming, streaming, multitasking — buttery smooth. If you’re comfortable fine-tuning BIOS settings, there’s a lot of performance headroom here without sacrificing stability. Pair it with good cooling and this CPU will absolutely fly. ... show more

  • AMD !

Awesome CPU handles everything I throw at it, (games, analysis software, CAD, programming). Had some issues during installation needed new bios but worked instantly post update. I also own the 5950x and 7900x, which still work great, however this one blows past the previous gens. Temps run 40s and 60s but never goes beyond 80. ... show more

  • Great processor.
Style: Processor
Solid performing for all my games. I did hold off on upgrading ever since my ryzen 7 2700x. I pushed that as far as it would go before buying this. I have been very happy with the Ryzen series. This runs everything fast and smooth for both gaming and every day computing.

  • Works as expected, no regrets.
Style: Processor
Great product! I managed to bring temp down to 70-75 degrees with a good fan (almost no noise) and undervolting (1.1 V, 5.1 GHz) with just a few percent of CPU performance drop in tests. Totally satisfied.

  • Excellent Processor for Non-Gamers
Style: Processor
Excellent processor. I'm not a gamer so I didn't go for the 3D memory version. This is an upgrade from a very old processor and motherboard, so the difference in operations is night and day. I have 2Gbit/sec internet. I never saw that speed until now. Apparently my CPU was the difference because I'm using the same 10G fiber adapter in my computer. ... show more

  • An Absolute Beast for Creative Work
Style: Processor
I installed this card in my recent PC build, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. I paired this with an AMD Radeon 9070xt GPU and use a 3-fan liquid cooling unit on the CPU. In real use, this thing is a workhorse. In Blender, viewport performance is buttery smooth even with complex scenes, heavy geometry, and high-resolution textures. Cycles renders are significantly faster and tasks like baking, denoising, and simulation previews feel far less painful than before. In Unreal Engine 5, the card absolutely shines. Lumen, Nanite, and high-quality lighting run with far fewer stutters than I expected, even in detailed environments. Large open worlds load quickly, and I can work at higher settings without constantly worrying about frame drops or performance bottlenecks. For game development and 3D work, it feels like I finally have headroom instead of constantly fighting hardware limits. ... show more

  • Best bang for the buck CPU workhorse for day to day developer productivity.
Style: Processor
I bought an ASUS PC which came with an 8700F. Since it is AM5, I decided to upgrade from 8 cores to 16 and this was worth every penny. Performance speaks for itself.

  • Good performance with good cooling.
Style: Processor
This is the first AMD consumer CPU build I’ve done. The performance isn’t much better than my Intel Core i9-14900K setup, though the main advantage is that it comes at a much more reasonable price point. The X3D variant also offers only a small performance gain over the non-X3D version. That said, I’m happy with the build since the processor was a great deal when I purchased it — about $450 on Prime Day. My only complaint is the amount of heat it produces. You really need at least a 360 mm AIO to achieve a decent overclock. Under full-load power stress tests in OCCT, my temperatures stay below 80 °C, so while the CPU runs on the hotter side, it’s still perfectly manageable. ... show more
