Best processor of 2025 for price/performance. The performance is almost unmatched and nearly top of the line with AMD. Plenty of cores and stays on par with Intels many cores. Very easy to install if you have your motherboard CPU installation plastic bracket. Feels durable enough that you could install without the motherboard plastic protector, but would always recommend using motherboard CPU installation protector. Excellent stability as well, this CPU runs at lower temps than my Ryzen 7 7800X3D while pushing more performance and power. This processor will go down in history for the year 2025!

Works fantastic! Parties with asus 5080 astral and I can push max/ultra settings in 4k on my 100” 4k 144hz Hisense TV. No lag, no stutter, no screen tearing. Paired with the Arctic freezer III and temps stay at 60c. I’ve seen once or twice them climb to 68c under heavy utilization but it’s not too often. Playing dead space (2023) and ghost of Tsushima. It’s on the pricey side but worth it! No noise from it. Stability is phenomenal, no crashes. Installation was straight forward and easy.

This thing’s a monster. I came from the AM4 chips, & didn’t expect this to be so small. Had a 3700x for ages, then a 5950x prior. Coming from a gaming perspective, it’s comparatively night & day. The average 1% lows are much better, fps is much higher, & latency is way lower. Just a very consistent & solid chip. I have an AIO & it keeps it very cool; I don’t experience any of the overheating claims I’d heard of. Side note: I think most people are cpu bottlenecked more often than they realize. A lot of gamers own a decent enough gpu to run most games competitively. But some people don’t correlate a processor to having such an impact on gaming performance. (If you have a 3060 or better & your gpu usage isn’t maxed out during gaming [& you have adequate RAM], you are most likely cpu bottlenecked.)

While my 9800x3d was stolen out the box before delivery, i still got the cpu from microcenter the next day. The cpu is great for gaming and daily use. I have not tried it in productivity/work tasks but i doubt it will hinder anything. I undervolted the cpu and it stayed stable and produces less heat and uses less watts. super easy to install. i had a 4070S and it worked great. but i desired more power. got a 5080 and it was basically a match made in heaven. both were played in 1440p

This CPU is INSANE!! I've upgraded from a 5800X3D and was able to be finally free from the cpu bottlenecks I'm having with the RTX 4090. I've gone from being cpu bottlenecked in Ultrawide-1440p(3440X1440p) to being gpu bounded instead in certain games. The 1%fps lows have also increased DRAMATICALLY, and I don't get those annoying frame dips I use to have with the 5800X3D. Highly recommend folks to use this with an x870e board that allows for pbo customization. There are plenty of tutorials for setting the pbo on YouTube. Also recommend to use this with a cl26/cl28/cl30 6000MT/s ram. This processor is perfect for you if only play games, as it suffers a bit when you have a clipping software like Medal running in the background, or you are streaming to Twitch/YouTube. You have the 9950X3D for those use-cases as you need those extra cores/threads. Still, I'm so thankful, blessed, and proud to be an owner of such an amazing piece of engineering.

This thing works great, runs 4x games way better than my 12900ks and is cooled easily by an nhd-15 contrary to what some may say. This being said ever since I switched over to this chip I have had an issue with instability and crashes while playing games after I upgraded. I doubt it's the cpus fault, it seems more like a GPU or mobo issue though I thought I might mention in case other customers are having the same issue.
