  • After a year of use still perfect performance and temps
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
The Ryzen 5 7600X delivers excellent performance for gaming and everyday tasks. Games run very smoothly thanks to its strong single-core performance, and it keeps up well with much more expensive CPUs when paired with a good GPU, i have a 4070 super and while an x3d might get some extra fps in gaming, the 7600x doesnt fall that far behind. It’s also very responsive for multitasking and general use. Support for DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 makes the platform feel modern and future-proof. The CPU can run a bit hot under load, so a decent aftermarket cooler is recommended, especially since there’s no stock cooler included. Overall, this is a great mid-range CPU that offers strong performance and good value on the AM5 platform. ... show more

  • PSU Died, Wallet Cried… but This CPU Made It All Worth It!
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
So, my power supply decided to explode (well, not literally, but close enough) and took half my components with it. Motherboard? Toast. RAM? Fried. CPU? Gone. At first, I was ready to throw in the towel and just buy a console, but I decided to rebuild from scratch — and that’s when I met the Ryzen 5 7600X. Let me tell you, this chip brought my PC back from the dead better than ever. Installation was smooth, the AM5 socket was super easy to work with, and once everything was up and running — wow. Boot times? Instant. Games? Silky smooth. Even my older GPU felt brand new paired with this thing. I was honestly a little worried about temps after reading reviews, but with a decent air cooler, it stays perfectly fine. Runs around 80–85°C under load, but never throttles. I also love how snappy everything feels — apps open before I can blink, and gaming performance is ridiculous. I’m running Cyberpunk, Apex, and Baldur’s Gate 3 at high settings with zero stutter. I thought losing my old setup was a curse, but this CPU turned it into a blessing. Between the 5.3 GHz boost, DDR5 support, and how future-proof AM5 looks, I’m genuinely excited about upgrades again. If you’re rebuilding or starting fresh — trust me — go with the 7600X. All in all, 10/10 would burn my PSU again just for an excuse to buy this CPU (okay, maybe not really… but you get it). ... show more

  • AMD CPU’s are greater then intel! AMD CPU’s are greater then intel!
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
Updated 11/16: CPU running great for everything I needed it for but make sure to pick good motherboard and stay away from Asus Motherboards and GPU's that have unstable bios and buggy gpu bios that can't handle newer gpu drivers without breaking down with problems like getting error code 144 or display of some app going over the taskbar due to bad bios on their GPU's or motherboards being the root caused. Also dealing with booting problem like posting on orange light for dram to red light for cpu back and forward due to the motherboard having bad bios update being the root caused of it. Upgrade Ram to 32GB DDR5 6000Mzh (Corsair Vengeance) and two more fans for cooling the only new add-on but overall system great minus Asus crap due to bad bios updates. Overall don't freak out but stay clam when it does happen. Asus just not trust worth brand no more but take the risk to buy from them if you wish. Old Review: Below Honestly any reviews on this motherboard about booting up is the end user who didn’t listen well about building first time pc hardware together. My first time putting together this hardware was fun and scary experience for me. Motherboard didn’t boot up fully; I freaked out and said i got a defect motherboard. I was so wrong and stupid, the likely causes are either motherboard, cpu, or ram sticks. Bios on the motherboard was out of date and root caused on why the yellow dram light turning on and main issues on booting up. I had to redo all the Fan pins connecting again so it’s in order starting with main case fans and water cooler pump/fans. RPG on the water cooler fans were cool but not a main thing for me as long as it cools the cpu heat greatly which does i believe. I can’t say for 100% sure since I haven’t had a desktop PC in years especially one that is gaming desktop pc over normal desktop computers are. I picked an AMD CPU Ryzen 5 7600X since its friendly budget cpu and handles all my gaming needs greatly. It can handle 5200mhz speeds from ram good. The system rams are Corsair Vengeance DDR5 clock at 5200mhz speeds, two sticks of 8gb for total of 16GB in duel memory channel mode. Plan to upgrade it to 32gb later on. Cpu cooler is water cooler by Corsair H100xRGP elite liquid cooler. Finally main boot drive is crucially p3 plus 1TB gen 4 which has incredible read and write rate speeds that the motherboard handles like a pro. Motherboard has many USB ports for connecting USB of different speeds like USB 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and USB type C as well two of then for 10 or 20 speeds. I would had love if it supported USB 3.0 speeds or higher since they are already backwards compatible towards older usb speeds. Anyway we have 4 x usb 2.0 ports, two usb 3.0 ports, and finally two usb c ports for connecting with. One Ethernet connection port that gives 2.5 gigabytes speeds for online experience. The system is fully stable on running all the hardware perfectly. I plan to upload a video review so keep eye out for other parts mentioned here. ... show more

  • Fast, Efficient, and Perfect for Modern Builds
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
This CPU delivers excellent performance for both gaming and productivity. Cooler not included tho so be sure to find a cooling solution. It’s fast, efficient, and pairs well with modern GPUs. Great upgrade for AM5 platforms. Excellent high end budget CPU. Highly recommended.

  • A good CPU at a sometime good price.
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
Pros, 1. 6c/12t. Plenty of power and speed to utilize low to high midrange GPUS and do basic PC tasks fairly well. 2. It can be reasonable priced a lot of the time. 3. Run on the AM5 socket which leaves open many upgrade possibilities. 4. Can be ran on almost any B650 or B850 motherboard for a lower cost system. 5. With good cooling it can be overclocked and even undervolted with your PBO settings. 6. It comes with a intragrated GPU in case your GPU goes bad so you can run your system until you get a new GPU or if you don't need a powerful GPU this can save you a lot of money and electricity just using the intragrated GPU as a stand alone. Cons, 1. Doesn't come with a H/F so that's an extra cost. Then again the Ryzen 5 7600 may come with a H/F but generally costs more money. With the difference you save you could easily buy a Cooler Master Hyper 212. 2. Tends to run slower and a lot hotter than the newer Ryzen 5 9600X. The Ryzen 5 9600X can sometimes be found at the same or lower price like on the last Prime Day. 3. Since this tends to run hot you may want to get at least something like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 or better to keep this CPU cool. Also running this under ECO mode(65 watts) makes this CPU run cool with very little performance loss. If you plan on overclocking and undervolting under PBO I'd recommend at least a 240mm AIO liquid cooler. 4. Don't expect this to push the highest end GPUs or be great at productivity applications. If you play ESports and competitive online games at 1080p with a 9070XT, RTX 5070TI or higher I'd recommend at least a 9700X or a 9800X3D. If you do professional applications and/or productivity applications I'd recommend at least 12c/24t CPU or higher. JMO. I returned a Ryzen 5 9600X because this was priced far cheaper at the time. I wish I held off until Prime then I'd had just returned the 9600X and bought another one for 165 which is 5 cheaper than I paid for the 7600X. Regardless no big deal. ... show more

  • Very Solid CPU
Pattern: CPU Only Style: Ryzen 5 7600X
Bought this around 2 months ago when I built my PC (a disaster in 2026). Been working perfectly with no issues whatsoever. Didn't really find it to run all that hot, even when under load. Idles around 50C for me (I have fans set to quiet), and under load it gets to 65-75C depending on the game and graphics. It only hit 90C when I subjected it to pre-loading several thousand Minecraft chunks. (Cooler is a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120) I run it alongside a 3080 and at 1440p I rarely find the 7600X struggling, maybe for the really new high end games, but for most games it'll run it perfectly fine. Overall a good CPU for its price, would recommend. ... show more
