Performance (Gaming): Dead by Daylight – everything maxed out, steady around 120 FPS. Escape from Tarkov – high/very high settings, typically 100+ FPS with no major dips. Rust – over 70 FPS even in bigger base areas. CS2 – absolutely flies, easily 180+ FPS. Minecraft (with heavy shader packs) – stays well above 120 FPS, which is impressive given how demanding some shader mods are. I generally play on high to ultra settings across the board, and this CPU keeps up with no noticeable bottlenecks. Games stay fluid, even during intense moments. Other Use Cases: Beyond gaming, it handles multitasking like a champ. I often have multiple applications open—Discord, Chrome with 20+ tabs, music streaming, and game clients—and it doesn’t slow down. Video editing in DaVinci Resolve and Blender rendering are both surprisingly quick for a mid-range chip, thanks to its 6 cores and 12 threads. Thermals & Reliability: The chip runs cool and stable with a decent aftermarket cooler. Even under long gaming sessions or heavier productivity loads, temps remain manageable. No crashes, no weird performance drops—just steady reliability for over two years. excellent processor in terms of value for money
The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 has really surprised me with how well it performs for its price. It features 6 cores and 12 threads, which are more than enough for gaming and everyday use, and its high clock speeds make everything feel very smooth. I’ve tested several of the latest games on the market with this processor, and the experience has been very good: stable FPS, strong overall performance, and no noticeable bottlenecks. It’s clear that it’s very well optimized for gaming. I also like that it has a 65W TDP, making it efficient and keeping temperatures under control. Overall, I think it’s an excellent processor in terms of value for money, perfect for building a modern PC without overspending.

I've been building PCs for over 35 years, including a few years doing it professionally, and when building rigs for myself, I've always been an Intel guy. In fact, this is the first AMD CPU I've ever purchased for my own system. I needed an affordable CPU with low power consumption and minimal heat output for a scratch-built arcade cabinet project. The Ryzen 5 7600 checked every box and fills a niche that Intel doesn't currently match. Installation was straightforward, performance has been excellent, and it simply does its job without any drama. The included stock cooler leaves a lot to be desired, but no surprises here as that's true for all of them, Intel included. I paired it with my good old friend Noctua NH-L12S, always a good choice. No regrets!

Unreal performance for the price. Perfect for my SFF build but does run hot
I picked up the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 for my small form factor (SFF) build, and honestly, it’s an absolute beast. It’s hard to beat this CPU when you consider the price-to-performance ratio; it handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat, making it a fantastic core for any modern budget rig. That said, if you are planning to put this in a tight SFF case, just be prepared for the thermals. It definitely runs a bit hot, which is to be expected given the power packed into such a small chip. As long as you have a solid cooler and decent airflow in your case, it’s not an issue at all, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind during your planning phase.

Good CPU, Upgrade Cooler
It’s a CPU and it has good value for money and shouldn’t bottleneck your GPU until it passes midrange. It’s awesome that it comes with a cooler as a bonus, but it is important to note that the cooler is only enough for the job and I’d recommend getting a better one.

Really nice CPU
This is a really good CPU especially at this price point. It does run hot if you are using the stock coolers (I got to around 80 degrees at max) but the performance from this thing is perfect (for the price.) There are no complaints from me. I am talking good game speeds, great Blender, and editing performance. Make sure you are getting an AM5 motherboard for these to fit, these should be pretty easy to install into the motherboard, fits perfectly. Over all, really satisfied with the performance of this.

This CPU is FAST—like, "Where did my loading screens go?" fast!
Alright, so I finally upgraded my PC with the AMD Ryzen 5 7600, and wow... I did not expect this much of a speed boost. Seriously, this thing flies. Performance: Gaming? Smooth as butter. Multitasking? Like a pro. I can have 20 tabs open, a game running, and still switch between apps without my PC throwing a tantrum. If you’re upgrading from an older CPU, you’re in for a treat. Installation: Super easy—just make sure your motherboard has an AM5 socket, or you’ll be staring at it like, “Wait… why doesn’t this fit?” Value for Money: Honestly, for what this processor offers, it’s a steal. You get great performance without selling a kidney, which is always a win. Cooling & Temps: Runs cool, but if you’re planning on pushing it hard, a solid cooler wouldn’t hurt. Stock cooling is okay, but if you want to flex those boost speeds, keep it chill. If your PC is starting to feel sluggish, this is the upgrade you need. It’s fast, efficient, and won’t break the bank. 10/10 would buy again (if I had another PC to upgrade).
