abunda_amazon_reviews Excellent budget processor. I'm confused as I was under the impression this would be under $100, but I paid $120? Either way, for a 3rd Gen processor, and what this delivers, it still felt like a great deal. While AMD's listing shows Base Clock at 3.6GMz, with a boost clock max at 3.9 GHz, I was able to use UEFI's OC Genie to get 4.17-4.20 GHz steady. I'm running the stock fan (Wraith Stealth Cooler). It also allowed my Ram to run 3000MHz steady OC. For reference I'm using RTX 2060. I've been able to run GTA V at higher settings and obtain up to 90 fps depending on the scenario (Grass settings at Ultra was a frame-killer). GTA V is a fairly CPU-Heavy game. Minecraft also ran perfectly for me, the RTX Beta version ran smooth as well with this CPU. I have 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan that all helped to maintain a cool environment for the CPU.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2020;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Good Thermals, powerful budget CPU.;;Jwolf1101;;;Like: - This is an amazing CPU, compared to others this one isn't as bad for those going for a decent pc build. The 3100 and 2600 may butt heads in terms of real life gaming performance, but at a 10 dollar difference, I can't recommend someone spend 10 dollars less for 2 less physical cores and 4 less threads, especially with the advent of newer games that are more heavily reliant on multi-core processing.
