The media could not be loaded. Wow. Aparently it's incredibly hard to find a quality all black rug. This was the 3rd rug I tried. I purchased 2 other rugs from. 2 other companies that had the same description as this one. They were both terribly cheap quality and weren't actually black. They were dark brown at best. Not what I was looking for. This was the last rug I was going to try through online shopping, and I am so glad I did!!! This is the one! Nice and soft, actually Black! Looks absolutely stunning in our space. And with 2 cats and my partner, we really needed something that was going to hide spills.... but to my surprise, this rug doesn't only hide them, it repells them!!! I've only had it out in our living room for 5 days, already my cats have spilled a plate of my food on it (with sauce) spilled a glass of water, and puked on it in multiple locations..... THIS RUG REPELLED ALL OF THEM!!!! I don't know how else to describe it, but it was like it sat on top of the fibers and didn't absorb into the rug. The water was the only thing that seemed to soak in a little bit more, but I wasn't too concerned about that anyways. You can't tell there were any spills on it ever! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My literal only complaint is that it was a little bit warped when we laid it out, but we've put heavy chairs/furniture on those areas to flatten it out, and it's flat now. I saw some other people complaining about some weird dust partials that came out of the rug when unfolding. I purchased an 8×10. There were a few, but nothing I wouldn't have vacuumed up anyway. If you're looking for a reason to not buy this rug, cleaning up those little partials shouldn't be the reason you don't. I will be purchasing another one of these smaller for our guest room. This hearth rug is exactly what I wanted to use as an entry mat for my sliding glass doors...which has worked out perfectly! I had slightly over 1/4" (5/16th to be exact) to spare under my verticals, and this 'just' fits under & looks great, 👍. Color is described as 'rust', and this rug's color is just a very slight bit 'too orangey'...and I AM being REALLY picky, because the color really IS nice & actually IS in the rust family...but I'd prefer it having just a little deeper, darker rust color to it, but...the more & more I live with it & see it, the more I like it. It's only been on the floor for a few days, so durability can't be determined yet, but from the looks of the weave & the binding, I'm pretty confident that this will hold up nicely. ... show more

I ordered a small rust rug. The pile was dense, and color rich, the rug had a thickness. So I ordered 4 larger same color. The second shipment had a different pile, too much space between rug piling , making the rug thinner , and the color is off by several shades. The first order was a dark rust and the second larger more expensive shipment was an orange , thin pile, non-matching lot... The exact same edge binding around the first rug , that was around the second shipment , and , The binding , is dark rust matching the dark rust rug. Same edge binding is dark rust, non matched the orange rug color of second shipment, making it obvious that the piling and the edge color mismatched...also, the backing of the second shipment is a different complete material. The first rug was a dark brown textile on the back, the more expensive second four rugs ,are completely white on the backing. All require some type of extra purchase for non-slip. ... show more

If you want a nice, dark teal-colored rug do NOT buy this. The color is completely different- more of a light teal/blue color, kind of like a swimming pool. Ick. The quality of the rug itself seemed fine though, good but nothing fancy.
