I was replacing a 15+ year old frame (adjustable, albeit) and wanted something that didn't need a box spring so that we could optionally go without, so getting something like this with supports was important. I am happy to say that the support beams, once the mattress is in place, feel perfectly sturdy with no issues. There were some weird problems with the beams popping out easily during assembly, but that was partially because of me stepping in and out between them. There are some quality concerns around the parts themselves. I pictured some scratched coverings as well as misalignments. Not only that, but it is hard to determine the correct corner piece assembly based on the instructions because they show the velcro on all sides, but apparently the head doesn't have velcro, so I assembled it a little weird and had to make adjustments. This brings me to my second issue, which is the LED strip. It fits pretty loose on the velcro and comes off easily when touched. Which means if you slide anything under the bed for storage, it better not rub against the lighting at ALL or it will come right off. Which is annoying since the tubs I have just barely fit under this (and my old) frame. The LED controls are also unclear since there were no instructions on the cycling and you just kind of have to play around with it to get something you like. Finally, I wish they had power adapters for both sides of the bed instead of just one. This is more of a preference. Other than that it's been interesting to use so far, in a good way. My heavy PURPLE mattress has been comfortable on this frame and hasn't had any issues with being wobbly or unstable at all.

This is a very well-built and heavy-duty bed frame. The metal construction feels solid and supports our mattress perfectly without needing a box spring. The 6.5-inch clearance underneath is a bonus, providing ample space for storage bins and making cleaning a breeze. It was straightforward to put together, and we appreciate that it's completely noise-free. The hidden legs really give it a clean, floating look. Excellent value for money.
