Description

Part of the ONE+ system of cordless tools for the home and garden, automotive and crafting, the OSS1800 Seed Spreader is the quick and easy way to evenly distribute seed, fertiliser, salt, feed, and other dry materials. Poor seed distribution can lead to uneven growth (patches), crops competing for nutrients or allow room for weeds to grow – thus even distribution is vital for healthy growth. Featuring variable flow rate and adjustable distribution area gives the user more control, reaching distances of up to 2m (6. 6”). The large 4L / 5kg capacity and anti-clog agitator allows for uninterrupted spreading. This item is a 'bare' tool (without battery or charger) which is a great value way to expand your ONE+ collection. We recommend our RB18L40 1. 5Ah battery for this tool. All ONE+ batteries and chargers are compatible with all ONE+ tools. Our tools are built to last, and so is our warranty. This tool is covered by a 3-year warranty, giving you complete peace of mind. This is why Ryobi is the DIY brand of choice for millions of homeowners, gardeners, hobbyists and auto-enthusiasts.

    • Great little device.
Really liked this. You can load about a kilo of fertilizer or see in it. Much better than those cheapy hand-cranks and replaces them. If you don't want something as big as a chest carry then this is your spreader.

    • Great way to fertilize your lawn
It is a great way to put your fertilizer on your lawn, however its heavy and will tax your strength and endurance holding this for an extended time,

    • Great quality spreader
The Ryobi spreader is very well made, which is what I’ve come to expect from Ryobi tools. It spreads fertilizer evenly and has an impressive throw distance, making it easy to cover a large area quickly. For my situation, though, it’s a bit overkill. I have a relatively small yard, and the spreader is really designed for someone with more ground to cover. If you have a medium to large lawn and are already invested in the Ryobi battery platform, I think you’ll be very happy with it. ... show more

    • Takes good hand strength.
Works well. Keep in mind you have to pull and hold the trigger all the way for the proper amount of granular product to be dispensed. Would be nice if it didn’t required a man’s hand strength though, kept having to switch hands.

    • Good for seeds but not for salt
This would be an excellent seed spreader but not great for salt. Had to be very small salt and it still jammed a lot.

    • Lawncare made almost fun.
I used it to apply fertilizer. It worked great.
