Would definitely recommend sizing up. I generally wear size 4, sometimes 2, and the size 6 fit perfectly. Otherwise, the shorts are great. Some stretch, good material, nice length.

Overall, these are really cute and flattering, and a great deal. But, the sizing is strange and they run very small. I ended up ordering 6 to find the right size combo (straight vs curvy) and had to size up 2 times to get them to fit like other brands. The frustrating thing is that I couldn't find any label indicating which was straight and which was curvy, but I think I ended up with the largest size I ordered in curvy. It seems like the curvy is smaller in the waist than the size smaller in straight, but had a more flattering shape on me because I like more room in the thigh without the weird bunching of material in the thigh. ... show more

The material on these is a bit stiff and they seem to run small, although I bought the "curvy" version. However, I love the fit of the black version and the black and white ones. Wish they had more pattern ones available because I love the black and white pair.

I got three pairs of these Amazon Essentials mid rise khaki shorts because they are incredibly comfy! The length is perfect, and they have a classy look. The material is soft, with a feel similar to polo fabric. They’re great for a chic mom style. Highly recommend!

good for school, really comfortable and longer than most shorts. I am 5’9 (174cm) and when i pull them up all the way they are a little shorter than my fingertips but my dress code says it has to be at my fingertips or lower. I can just pull them down a little and they’re not falling off or anything they still fit well and the truth is, a month into the school year they will probably stop caring as much about the length of shorts so i’ll be fine but for my tall girlies it’s not the same length 😞 also personally i think the button is a little ugly might see if i can replace it but i mean that’s in the images so what did i expect lol. ... show more
