I have this cardigan in several colors. It's my go to cardigan. I wear these frequently. I even keep one in the car for when I have to go into cold grocery stores, restaurants and doctors' offices, etc. The sizing seems true but I usually size up for extra room. As for length, I'm 5' 4", for me it sits around the hips. The material is lightweight, very soft and comfortable. The arms have a good stretch which is great for my large upper arms. There is no tightness or binding in the arms. This is a traditional V neck cardigan. This cardigan wears well, I wash it on delicate cold and dry flat. My oldest is over 2 years old and it still looks great, not pilling or fading and they all have kept their shape. These are good everyday sweaters, they are not fancy but could be worn for an evening out. It comes in a variety of wonderful colors and you can't beat its price for what you get. ... show more

Amazon Essential cardigan are lightweight, well made and a good value. The fit is nice. The shoulder seams line up which is a nice tailoring feature. The fabric is lightweight so it can be worn in the spring or summer evenings. I purchased the darker green and it didn't disappoint. It was a lovely shade of Forrest Green. The fabric has a nice softness about it so it feels good on your arms. The length hits at mid hip so it doesn't fall below your rear like some longer sweaters do. This soft baby pink cardigan is super comfortable, looks like cashmere and fits perfectly. The size is spot on (I ordered the small) so go ahead and order according to the size chart. I feel like the material is very lightweight and a bit thinner than what Im used to. This is a piece that will easily transition thru the spring, summer and fall months making it a very versatile wardrobe piece. I would suggest paring this with a cute little lace camisole underneath as the V neck is quite low. I love that the fabric is Cotton & Model rich. Both Cotton and Model are much more expensive fabrics to use, its what gives this cardigan the softness and stability needed to enjoy wearing for many years. Anytime I purchase clothing from the "Amazon essentials" line I can always rely on the fact that I'm getting a high quality, very well made and super affordable product. Honestly, I thought I was looking for a different fit when I first got this, but then I missed the return window and I’m SO GLAD I did. This cardigan has worn super well - it stands up to everyday wear and tear and comes out of the wash looking great. After wearing it a ton already it’s not pilling or pulling. It’s crazy comfortable - light and breathable - and the knit is thin but substantial. The little slits at the side are flattering and I have worn it so much. The fit is current but the classic color and knit keeps it from being too trendy. Love love love ... show more

Fit is true to size. Fabric is a cotton blend, soft, nice fabric weight for a summer cardigan. The cotton blend should wear better over time than 100% cotton would (because 100% cotton starts to sag and lose shape). Very pleased, surprisingly nice quality at such a low price point.

This cardigan is a great style find—the scalloped trim and the fit are exactly what I was looking for. It’s very flattering and the material feels nice against the skin. However, I’m a bit concerned about the finishing work. Upon closer inspection: • Inconsistent Stitching: Some of the buttonholes have loose loops and gaps in the knit right at the stress points. I’m worried these will catch on things or continue to pull over time. • Knit Snags: I found a few areas where the knit seems to have small "hiccups" or loose threads that aren't quite tucked in properly. • Delicate Construction: It’s a very lightweight piece, so while it looks great for spring, you’ll definitely want to be careful with how you wash it (hand wash or a mesh bag is probably a must). It’s a lovely sweater for the price point, but you may want to check yours over for any loose loops in the stitching before you pull the tags off.. ... show more

I had not really used Amazon Basic brand but this little Golden Rod Yellow blazer was the very well made . A bonus is that is cute for Spring . It was a vibrant color more Golden Rod than yellow persay . Keeping mind thats very lightweight its not a cozy keep you warm sweater it is lightweight fashion button down cardigan . I give 5 stars and on par in quality with Macy's Inc in house brand fashion cardigans . Would recommend and perfect for the office and great Spring color ... show more

Ordered this sweater for spring and summer wear. It is lightweight but not flimsy . Has cotton per description. Appears well made. I washed in cold water and hung to dry as instructed and it washed very nicely. I ordered my regular size and it fit perfectly (5'4", 128lbs, size medium due to larger bust size) Not skin tight but also not oversized, just perfect. For the price you can't beat it.
