I really wanted to like this cardigan. The crossed cable pattern is unique, but the color is horrible. The seller's photo was of a cheerful light lilac color, what I received was a muddy gray-ish tan color with a hint of purple. It could not even be considered mauve. It looks different under indoor lighting vs daylight, but one brings out more gray, and the other the tan undertones. Yuck. The sweater is moderately soft 100% acrylic. Size small fit well for a 5'-3" tall and 135 lbs straight figure. Just choose a different color and watch out for snags. The yarn pulls easily at the center of each crossing, though I was able to tease the loose loops back where they belonged. Will be returning. ... show more

So when I got this it was like a peice of paper so I was unsure, but I have a rule about my clothes if they can't survive the wash and dryer I can't own it! Well I threw it in the wash then the dryer with the load I was doing and thank goodness it puffed up and is now verry nice!! It's warm great for layering, hits mid thigh, nice pockets.
