  • Good for Texas Cold Weather
Size: Medium Color: Navy
I usually wear a small but I went with my gut on this one and got a Medium. It was the right choice this time. Good for a chilly Nighy but below freezing I might have to layer with something else or another jacket entirely. Thankfully where I am there aren't too many freezing days. As far as flattering.. it's hard to make a puffy jacket look flattering but this one did pretty well. I like it so much I got a pink one also since they were on sale. ... show more

  • Nice Jacket!!
Size: Large Color: Black
I am really impressed by this jacket. I needed a last minute packable puffer for a trip to Orlando(wasn’t expecting temps forecasted to be in the 50’s). I didn’t want to spend too much and most packable puffers cost $50 or more, were out of stock in stores (a few days before Xmas) or would not arrive in time for my trip. So, I checked Amazon and of course…they had what I needed. A great price and prime delivery. I didn’t know what to expect from an Amazon product line coat. But let me say, I love this jacket! It does not look cheap, has zipper pockets, an inside pocket, a hood and a packable bag attached to the inside. The best thing about it is the wrist cuffs—they are slightly tapered and slightly stretchy. So they stay in place but you can push them up easily to check your watch. It will definitely be warm enough for 50 degree temps. I ordered one size up (I ordered a Large) but would normally wear a Medium jacket. The large fits good with room enough to wear a fleece or sweatshirt underneath. If I wasn’t planning to wear a fleece under it, the Medium would fit perfectly. I may order another color in a medium. For less than $30 and free delivery in 2 days, you seriously cannot go wrong! ... show more

  • Neon pink is CUTE!!
Size: Small Color: Neon Pink
I have been eyeing for this puffer jacket for a long time, and when the Black Friday sale popped up, I snagged it! I LOVE THIS JACKET. SIZING I’m 5’4, 120 lb., 32C-27-35 and wear a size XS-S/2-4 at most major retailers (Gap, etc.). I ordered this jacket in both an XS and S because I am right on the cusp between sizes. The Small felt more comfortable and allowed me to wear a thick sweater underneath, so that’s the one I kept. The XS did fit (albeit snugly), but it would have been perfect for me pre-2020, before all the stress of the pandemic, back when I was 110 lbs and my measurements were 1" smaller overall (32B-26-34). Right now the XS just feels too restrictive across my shoulders and hips, so I returned it and kept the Small. I am satisfied with the sizing and feel this jacket fits true to size. COLOR I got the neon pink, and it is SO CUTE! It’s a really bright, happy bubblegum pink. I absolutely love it. The fabric also has a light sheen to it, which adds to the luminosity. Thank you, Amazon Essentials, for making this jacket in beautiful bright colors and not just dreary black and gray! Many of us like to wear bright, happy colors during dark winter days because it nourishes our spirit. QUALITY This jacket is good quality for the price. It feels like something you might find at Target in the C9/Champion athletics section. I have nicer puffer jackets from REI, so don’t expect this to be of the same quality as Marmot or Northface. It’s not. But it’s just fine for what it is. WEARING & TRAVEL This jacket is definitely water-resistant, though not waterproof. I live in a region that has notoriously rainy winters, and this jacket has performed totally fine in a drizzle mist, dense fog, and light to medium rain. As long as you aren’t standing under a literal waterfall, you should be fine! ;) I was able to BARELY squish this jacket into the travel bag it comes with. I can see why others had a problem with that. It’s not easy. SUMMARY Overall this is a wonderful jacket for a fantastic price. Snap it up while it’s still on sale! ... show more

  • packable, longer torso, 400 g jacket, 8 g travel bag, 3 g clip
Amazon added a feature where you can put in your weight and other details and it will recommend a size for you. It recommended between a medium and a large for me. I wanted a snug fit so I got a medium. It did fit snugly like I want it. My weight varies between 130 and 150 pounds and I am now at the higher end of my weight. I am petite, 53, and big chested. I found the torso to be a tiny bit long, but that isn't a big deal for the price. Also my backside is a bit big and the jacket reaches a tiny bit onto it past my hips because of the longer torso. Rolling up the bottom a tiny bit shortens the torso and keeps the jacket off of my backside where it is too tight. I don't really like the color, but I was trying to spend as little as possible on this jacket so I got the cheapest color, which is probably the least desirable. Lots of people have asked about the weight of this jacket and have not gotten an answer. I put the jacket in a box to make it easier to weigh as it kept on coming unfolded, and then I subtracted the weight of the box from the total weight. I got 400 g for the medium jacket, 8 g for the travel bag, and 3 g for the clip making a total of 411 g for the entire set up. You would think that they would advertise the weight but they don't. You can see the shipping weight, but that is the weight of the entire package instead of the weight of the jacket. I will add a bit to the shipping week to make sure there is enough leeway. I have not been able to get it to fit in a travel bag. If you can get it to fit there I would encourage you not to store it in its travel bag because jackets and sleeping bags should not be stored in a compressed state, especially synthetic ones. I have tried really hard and can't do it. I'm not sure if I really need its travel back. I'm not an expert, but I believe it would be fine to put it in a backpack uncompressed and then use the compression straps as necessary. It is a huge like a sleeping bag where it could be helpful to have a stuff sack. I believe that if you are using this jacket as part of a proper layering system, you could be fine down to 20°. Perhaps if you were wearing thermal underwear you would be fine a bit lower.. I was just thinking of having it with a moisture wicking long sleeve shirt well actively moving when making my 20° estimate. Without actively moving I would estimate you would need a light weight pullover fleece to get that same 20° and if you started moving with that set up you could get to 10° perhaps. Perhaps with thermal underwear, the shirt over it, the fleece pullover, and then this jacket you could make it below 0°. It depends a lot on whether you are moving, what else you are wearing, and how cold you get. A lot of people are asking though so I thought I would try to estimate. With a sleeping bag it is a lot easier to get a temperature rating because someone is just sleeping. For something over 50° though, I think it might get too hot and it would be better to have a pullover fleece. I don't get cold that easily though. It would be interesting to see what others think of my estimates. I don't really know The purpose of the clip. The instructions also seem to indicate that you can wash it just the way you would wash any other type of clothing, but water resistant jackets normally need to be washed with a special detergent to maintain their waterproofing properties so I'm a bit confused about that. The only other problem I have with the jacket is that I wish it were a bit more breathable, but most jackets of this style have that problem. If your other clothing is breathable I think it would be fine. If I paid $300 for this jacket I would bump the rating down to three stars, but because I paid $30 for this jacket, the rating is four stars. ... show more
