I have been in love with the Amazon Essentials Fleece Jackets for years! I recently started wearing more warm fall tones and this golden tan jacket is the best color ever! Plus it is so extremely comfortable, it keeps me warm but not overheated, and the fit allows me to wear a heavier sweater under it or it still looks nice and semi form fitting with just a tank top. I love the bottom hem because it doesn’t flare outwards, so it still looks nice on my more slender frame (a lot of jackets that flare out end up looking so big and awkward on me). The cuffs on the sleeves are so nice! They are a bit thinner so they don’t feel uncomfortable with a watch, bracelets, or gloves on and I can push them up with ease and not have an indent from big cuffs! I normally despise driving in any kind of jacket but this is super comfortable so I can actually wear it in the car or while sitting for an appointment or whatever. It gives you a lot of flexibility and mobility so it works great for hiking too. And it has held up well- despite wearing a heavy hiking backpack there is no pilling on the sleeves! I’m wearing an xs in the photos but I also have it in a small so I can wear it over multiple heavy bulky layers and it really doesn’t look too big on me because of that bottom hem and the sleeves! I have this jacket in numerous colors! My black one I bought several years ago and wore all the time still looks really good and almost brand new (and I am not at all easy or gentle with my coats)! The great thing about the fleece is it is breathable so it’s not too heavy for 50°-60° days when worn over a tank top but it blocks enough wind that when layered over even a light thermal it really helps keep you warm. I’ve worn it over a heavy thermal and a zip up athletic jacket in mid 30 degree days while hiking and I actually unzipped it all the way from time to time because it helped keep me so warm. Highly recommend and you can’t beat the price point- it’s better than some really expensive brands. Bonus, my husband loves the men’s version as much as I love the women’s!

This fleece is way nicer than I expected for the price. It’s soft, warm, and fits true to size without feeling bulky. The zipper works smoothly, the pockets are actually usable, and it layers well under a coat. I’ve worn it on chilly mornings and it keeps me comfortable without overheating. My only note is that it attracts a bit of lint, but nothing a quick brush can’t fix. Overall, a great everyday fleece and a total no-brainer for the price.

I bought this fleece jacket for my wife, and overall, she's happy with it. It definitely lives up to the "soft fleece" part. It's incredibly cozy and perfect for lounging around the house or layering under a coat on chilly days. The fit is decent, true to the "classic-fit" description - not too tight, not too baggy. However, the color was a bit of a letdown. What looked vibrant and appealing on the product page was actually quite dull in person. The color wasn't wrong, just not as saturated or bright as we expected. It's still a wearable and functional jacket, but the muted tone detracts a bit from the overall aesthetic. The classic fit is close-but-comfortable, offering a flattering silhouette while still allowing for easy movement and layering. I purchased this to use as a mid-layer for an upcoming Alaskan cruise. I specifically wanted something without a hood so that I can comfortably wear a hooded raincoat over it without having the bulk of an extra hood. I can usually wear either a S or a M depending on the brand. Many reviews said this runs small so I went with the M. For reference I am 5' 1 1/2" and weigh about 133 lbs. The M fit perfect. There is enough room to wear a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt underneath, but it's form-fitting enough to wear a coat over it. I am happy with my purchase and glad I went with the medium as I think a small would have been too tight.

I bought an XX-large, which is one to two sizes bigger than I usually wear. It fits fine across the torso, but the sleeves are tight, even with a sleeveless shirt. The fabric is pretty light weight, but it is good quality. It is very soft and is good for times when just a little more coverage is all you need.

I LOVE this jacket! It's thicker than my other fleece jackets. It's very warm and cozy. This winter we have had very low temperatures (single digits and sub-zero, even). This is a great layering piece. I wear a long sleeve shirt and this jacket under my regular winter jacket. It keeps me from freezing! I also keep this jacket on indoors. It washes great -- cold water in the wash, and low setting for the dryer. Also, I can push up the sleeves and they will stay. (Important for a short person with short arms).
