I always buy myself a pair of nicer walking shoes for my birthday. Usually I buy the KEDS canvas styles but last year my canvas shoes got a hole in them so I decided to try something new. These classic lace ups in leather fit SO nicely. I do find KEDS to fit pretty narrowly and I think that’s why previous pairs of mine have gotten holes etc in them. I have wide feet I force into narrow shoes. Anyhow the leather on these KEDS is *just* supple and flexible enough that there’s no uncomfortable rubbing or abrasiveness. I get so many compliments on these shoes, they really do look lovely and are obviously quality so they do get noticed. It’s still a casual shoe but the leather gives it more versatility to dress up and I love that it doesn’t stain like the canvas versions do. Sure it can be scuffed and marked like any leather but it adds to the character of the leather, which I love ... show more

Due to my circulation issues, I have a very wide foot and ANKLE! I purchased the extra-wide 11. It is the FIRST sneaker in years that ACTUALLY FITS MY FOOT AND ANKLE. The quality of the sneaker is very good. They are made just like the ones I had in the 1960s. Cushioning: This is also sold by a big name shoe swish co. These are just as perfect as they are at a much lower price.they are so.comfortable i dont want to take them off. They make me feel very stable when walking I am 90 and have had.my share of falls. I feel so much better with these on my feet. more secure and stable. I love Keds! You can always count on Keds. I love that they don't change! These looks so cute and dainty compared to all of the big clodhopper sneakers. I have some of those too, but sometimes I don't like the way they look.

If I could, I wouldn't give this product a single star ⭐️. It's been years since my first review (below this review). This is my second pair. I was somewhat skeptical 🧐 with the first pair and disappointed with the slight irregularity (bump) on one shoe but I decided to keep them because I needed a pair for the gym and this was the ladt oair in my size. Fast forward to 2nd pair today. I've always loved Keds and have been wearing them for decades because they are comfortable and classy and now I was overdue for a good new pair. The reviews were also high so I thought I would give it another try but I couldn't have been more disappointed! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! 1. These are NOT leather shoes. They appeared nice out of the box but shortly after 30 days , I started to notice marks in the folds/creases. This was very unusual because I have purchased several other pairs of Keds leather sneakers in the past and never had this happen before. At first it looked like hairline cracks but I wasn't sure because It was very thin. I continued to wear them and now I can clearly see they are cracks and are getting bigger! Real leather doesn't crack like this! I've not only owned other REAL leather Keds sneakers, but also REAL leather dress shoes, boots and sandals for over 40 years and none of them ever cracked in the folds or elsewhere. Ever. 2. Real leather feels soft and smooth and also SMELLS nice, ...like "leather", right out of the box. These looked and felt like rubber or some other type of material and didn't smell like leather at all. In fact, every time I wear them, it stinks! 3. They are advertised as "breathable" but they are not. I also have never had smelly feet or shoes. I can't stand the odor that follows me all day long, sitting in my car, watching tv with friends or having dinner with family. I hate the smell and can't wait to take them off at the end of my day. I don't mind paying a little more for good shoes especially for REAL leather shoes but these are NOT leather. I don't like the false advertisement and that I was lied to and taken advantage of. I would like to return them and get a refund if i can't have REAL leather keds sent to me but it is past 30 days and it didn't start happening until just after 30 days. I'm very disappointed and would NEVER recommend these shoes to anyone! Thank you. ----- (1st review, first pair) 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 They had a slight defect (raised bubble?) on the top of one shoe but it wasn't a big deal. The didn't pinch toes and fit fine but not very comfortable. Could use more cushioning in them. ? My feet get tired in them. Not as comfy as other keds I purchase 30 yrs ago. Maybe I'm use to the cushioning in sketchers now? I also wear foam sandals almost every day. My feet love the foam! lol ... show more
