This is the second pair of Amazon Basics terry shorts I've bought and I'm super happy with the purchase. They are super comfortable and durable. Great value for the price. Beware that, for some reason, different colors/variations have different fit. For example the grays fit different than the navy or green ones. I'm not even sure how that's possible, but it's a thing. Fortunately amazon has super flexible try-on policies, but I suggest getting 2-3 color variations you like and see which one you like the fit best. ... show more

The blue is perfect. I'd call it French blue. After 5 wash cycles, no significant fading or sharing of color during laundry. Very comfortable. I'm thinking seriously of getting another as a spare. The sizing was dead on in the XL sizing.
