Great lightweight jacket for kids

We got this jacket to replace a different one my daughter lost at school. She picked this one out because of the pastel rainbow color. This is a lightweight coat, so I gave it 4 stars for warmth. It is cozy and works well in the winter temperatures we typically get in the south. My daughter usually fits kids size 6, and this 6/7 fit her very well, with a little room to grow. She was thrilled at the hot pink lining color! There are two inner and two outer pockets, not zipper closure. The ends of the sleeves are fitted with elastic, and fits about at her wrists. The hood is a good size, covering her head and ears, but not hanging down over her eyes or face. She is 3' 8" tall, and the length falls well below her hips. The jacket feels and looks very well made, with quality materials and durable stitching. We are very happy with this jacket.

My grand-daughter loves this jacket. She is 11 years old, slim and tall. She weighs about 89 lbs. I wish I had gotten her the X-large instead of the large. She can wear it now with a sweatshirt under but it won't fit with bulky clothes in the fall of 2021. I gave it 3 stars because it is not super warm, nor did I want it to be. I did want it to be a Wis. fall or early spring jacket, not for really cold winter, and it's perfect. I really don't know about the water resistence...I am trusting them, so put 4 stars. This jacket is for cooler temps (like summer camping in Wi.) but not super cold ones, and is very easily packable for trips. It's just what I wanted and I'd give it 5 stars for MY purposes. It did seem a bit smaller than I'd expected, however. The zipper looks sturdy too. I'd recommend it, just watch the sizing.

Highly recommend for fall

We needed a fall jacket for our 7 year old that was able to flex with the Michigan fall weather. This one is perfect. Not only is it lightweight and great quality, it is water resistant which is super helpful. We LOVE that it can also we folded/ rolled into its little storage bag (comes attached) for a smaller storage option for the school bag. Such a smart add! Our daughter is 7 years, 4’ tall, 60lbs and the medium is perfect with room to grow. She says it is very comfortable, the thickness is perfect, zipper runs smoothly, and she loves the inside pockets as well. All in all a VERY good jacket and amazing value for money. Highly recommend.

It’s a great looking coat. My kid has a thing for mushrooms, so this was such a great find! She says it’s warm. She’s 6 years old, 48.25 inches and 65 lbs. I ordered the Large after reading the reviews that it runs small. I have to agree with that whole heartedly. The size Large says size 9 on the jacket label. She says it fits her perfectly, and it does look exactly her size (right now). I’m not sure it will get use through more than one winter, so I’m going to return it for a bigger size.

Good for mild cold!!

Very please with this jacket! We live in Minnesota so we know all about the cold. While this won’t be my kids jacket for sub zero temps, it’s perfect for the 30s and 40s and when we just need a jacket on the go. I love that it can pack down small for travel, and it even is thin enough for them to safely wear it in the car seat. And it has adorable patterns too!
